You may not know that both my brother @dan_horwitz and I are absolutely obsessed with burgers and take them way too seriously

When it comes to Asian food, no one does it better than @threewisemonkeys_za, who have created a culinary paradise in the heart of sea point that seamlessly balances beautiful Instagrammable food with the most exciting flavours!
Plus they have a newly updated website with all their menus and everything you need to know before visiting them.
Here's what I loved while visiting last week!
For starters, I loved the brand new miso pickled veg and the latest addition to their Not-So-Secret Secret Menu: smashed tomato and baby ginger salad - dressed with soy, sesame, and garlic. Two simple bowls of the most incredible flavours, tastes, and textures! So unique!
And then onto the main course!
My 2 go-to's and the dishes that @threewisemonkeys_za knock out of the park. Their Ramen and their Poke bowls! The Beef Brisket Ramen is comfort food personified bursting with layers of delish flavours while the tuna and salmon poke bowl is so fresh and packed with the most exciting ingredients!
And now for some exciting news!
I tried the Three Wise Monkeys brand-new mochi-flavored waffle dessert which was mind-blowing! The perfect balance of sweet and savoury!

Winter is coming ๐ and it's time to get out your fav (mainly red) wines to keep you warm through the Winter months @brucejackwines is one of my fav wine brands when it comes to no-fuss, uncomplicated, versatile, and fantastic drinking wines!
Here is my Bruce Jack Winter Favs!
1. The Bruce Jack Pinotage Malbec.
I love the freshness of this wine, especially when served slightly chilled! The slightly sweet but warm flavour profile makes it a perfect Winter wine.
I recently made a Roast Lamb Shank and the 1st thing I thought of when I tasted this wine was WOW it would have gone perfectly with that!
2. The Bruce Jack Shiraz
The signature Shiraz spice and fruit are there, both on the nose and palate but I loved the slightly smokey taste that came through with the fruity flavour as I enjoyed the wine!
The smokiness and spice in this scream BRAAI chops and steak no matter what the weather is!
3. The Bruce Jack Chenin Blanc
I love a Chenin Blanc and drink it all year round! This one had quite an intense summer fruit flavours on the nose and palate and even a hint of citrus.
Because it is Winter the 1st thing that comes to mind when I tasted this wine was a delicious chicken curry where the fruity flavours would complement the spiciness!
4. The Bruce Jack Stream of Consciousness
A new fav Winter wine! A combo of Cinsault, Shiraz, and Grenache that is perfectly balanced between fruity, spicy, and slightly chocolatey! With this combo of flavours and aromas, this is going to be my go-to lamb or beef stew wine for Winter!
