In this 376-page publication, Shaykh Abdurraghiem Hasan Sallie provides an insight into the laws pertaining to Inheritance in Islam.

Using and translating prepared works by Dr Taha Abdul Aziz Abu al Fadl, an Al-Azhar University professor and one of his teachers, the author expounds upon how the shares of inheritance are calculated and allocated, and also details the laws and ramifications of inheritance according to the four major schools of thought (Madha-hib).

The compulsory stipulated shares as explained in the Qur’an are diagrammatically explained by way of examples.

She is also a Muslimah Recharge Specialist and artisanal jeweller. Brooke, who unschools her children, resides on the southern coast of Morocco.

"Reading, for me, feels like a basic bodily need such as breathing, eating and sleeping. My brain and soul need new ideas and higher understandings, which I find easiest to initially learn about (and enjoy) through reading. As with the other processes, I can easily fall into the habit of reading junk, pollution, etc. I have to make it a habit to read beauty, wisdom and quality, to surround myself with other thoughtful readers (and writers), and to recreational read in moderation."
