We are so proud to present @Svenkristianstudio ‘s first video project.
We think he smashed it and brought his usual flair to the project.
He had this to say about the piece.
My first attempt at doing some video while I was shooting a personal fashion stills project.
Instead of approaching the daunting task of trying to make a technically good film, I decided to approach my project by shooting imperfectly, but with intention (hand held, jittery Super 8mm aesthetic etc.) Many lessons learnt. I created a piano line that was 2 minutes long, then edited the film around that. Then I went on to build the rest of the song. I wanted to make a track that appears heartfelt, but also has a subtle element of quirkyness, hence the accordion-ish vibes and drifty piano sound:-)
All filming and music by me. All effects, other than grading and the film emulation, done in camera.
basic Editing by me in Davinci Resolve, with help of some super8 LUTs.
