Modack and co-accused case
A bekgeveg broke out at Nafiz Modack trial at the Western Cape High Court on Wednesday as investigators interrogated Modack's coaxcused about notes being passed in the dock during proceedings.
Shortly after Judge Henney exited the court room Colonel Eddie Clark was seen confronting Moegamat Toufeek Brown about notes he shared. Detectives are now questioning the accused in the holding cells.
It is understood that Brown wrote threatening notes and showed it to Clark who was sitting in the public gallery and later tore the pages up.
This comes just days after Modack allegedly threatened the family of another detective Captain Eddie Du Plessis
"Clark hou maar dop" is what one of the notes said.

The two men believed to have shot and killed alleged underworld kingpin, Mark Lifman, have been caught on camera just moments after the shooting. Video footage shared with IOL shows the suspects changing the car's license plates.
According to a source the duo, who both work for a Cape Town-based security company, were caught driving a white VW Polo when they allegedly fired at Lifman at Garden Route Mall, George in the Western Cape, on Sunday.
The Western Cape High Court entered video footage of the dramatic arrest of alleged underworld kingpin Nafiz Modack into evidence.
More than three years after Modack initially managed to escape the clutches of the SAPS Special Task Force, a former officer has taken the stand to testify about how Modack allegedly tried to run him over with a bulletproof vehicle during the arrest near Century City in April 2021 as he faces the attempted murder of the officer.
Modack has denied trying to kill the police officer, saying they were driving unmarked vehicles and he believed it was an attempt on his life.
