Did you know? The earliest known sporting event photograph was likely taken around 1855 and depicted boxers in a staged pose.

Here's why:
- Photography technology in the 1850s wasn't advanced enough to capture fast-moving action during live events.
- Early photographs required long exposure times, making action shots impossible.

Thankfully, modern photography allows me to freeze the moment! I always try to keep some of the movement in the photograph, like the slight blur on the hand and dumbbell in this photo.
