Festivals are experiences we feel and share with others. Is the music that brings us together. Each event is unique and the music reflects that diversity of sound and experience. We believe that these moments are not once off, we take them with us even when the party’s over. Everybody loves seeing the photos after the event, and so in a similar way BRYSONS is going to preserve those memories, just with music. Photos show you what happened. The music takes you there again, anytime.
Cape Town was named the World’s No.1 Events and Festivals Destination (World Travel Awards). Events like Rocking the Daisies, Origin and the Eden’s have been around for about a decade or more – spearheading a growing trend for outdoor music festivals. These are an important cultural force for us and are big opportunity generators for the local economy.
BRYSONS is a natural part of this trend and will grow as the space grows. We want to pull more of the world’s attention to the tip of Africa as a world-class experiences destination. It’ll attract more international headliners to come here, whilst also showcasing our local talent to the rest of the world and bring more exposure and growth for the country in the larger scheme of this.
Our focus is the music – carefully curated. I finally understood what and why we exist when someone tagged a friend in a post and said “this is the page with the playlists”. That’s the simple truth of what and why BRYSONS is what it is and why we will keep on doing what we do.
