[ Breaking News ] London UK - South African Independent horror film has won 3 international film awards!

South African Independent horror film ‘8’ also known as “The Soul Collector” just won 3 awards at the 11th British Horror Film festival in London on the 7th of December:

-Best Feature Film
-Best Actor Tshamano Sebe
-Best Music

The win follows on the heels of recently signing a UK & Polish distribution deal which brings the World Distribution list to 10 territories, including the USA, Russia and Germany. South Africans can watch 8 on Netflix.

'8' is the directorial debut of Harold Hölscher.

Such a big honour to have been to Camerimage Festival last year with the nomination of Jacques Van Tonder : Best debut feature film cinematography for our first THE RECCE.

Among the other prizes presented during the cinematography festival's closing ceremony, the Silver Frog was awarded to 'The Two Popes' and the Bronze Frog went to 'The Painted Bird.'
