Well, let me tell you about the Witchcraft Suppression Act 3 of 1957.

This was a law that classified any and every aspect of the practice of African Spirituality as WITCHCRAFT. Anything associated with African Belief Systems was deemed inherently evil, by law!

From 1957 to 1994, it was ILLEGAL to be a Healer in South Africa. Anyone who professed any KNOWLEDGE of amadlozi could be sent to jail. Any who CONSULTED with a Healer could be sent to jail. Anyone who believed they KNEW of a healer could be sent to jail.

This sent our beliefs underground. The fear of breaking the law was turned into a mythical urban legend. That is why right now, at this very moment, the word 'sangoma' sends shivers down your spine. Because you inherited that fear. What you have always thought to be a fear of 'evil spirits' is actually a fear of going to jail...and probably never coming back.

“There is a supreme power that we all acknowledge and thus submitting to ,subconsciously or consciously.
This supreme power can be manifested in both , the good and the evil way .

The reason why we would always have these futile arguments is the failure to realize how we are differently rationalizing and thus labeling this power but ultimately agree to its existence without even realizing that we are all agreeing to this (that it exists and it’s real )

The reason being : some Chanel this power through traditions, through scientific ideologies and methodologies , through philosophy, some according to their level of self-conscious , some through religion, some through pure spirituality etc .

All of us as people with these different doctrines or ideologies of channeling power will thus have different labels or naming for it and different ways of connecting to it
E. G some would talk of the law or will power of the universe , some would talk of Ancestors , some would talk of energy as the source of everything , others will just put god synonymously with energy , some would talk of common sense or 3rd eye , the law of Mother Nature , some would talk of a man with a long beard living up above the skies who sent his own son to manifest his supreme existence etc , but once again ,what’s common is that there is an acknowledgement of a supreme power or being/s which we all could say it’s beyond the 3rd dimensional structures (physical world ).

suspects in the death of initiates
Tsomo police have arrested three (3) suspects in connection with the shooting deaths of 3 initiates in Jojweni village on Saturday.
According to a report from the Police Service, three groups of initiates between the ages of 19 and 20, who were found with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies on Saturday (2 Jan 2021) at about 08:00 were found inside a traditional pastoral home. (bhoma).
The arrested suspects are between 27 and 35 37 to 30 years old. They were reportedly arrested on Monday and Tuesday in Jojweni and Tsomo villages. They are expected to appear in the Tsomo Magistrate's Court today, each facing a murder charge.
The following items were obtained at the time of their arrest.
• 1- 9mm pistol and ammunition bag (15)
• (2) Mobicell
• (1) Samsung A10
• (2) iPhones
• (3) Huawei
Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner Lt General Liziwe Ntshinga applauded the hard-working team that led to the immediate arrest of the suspects.
