My name is Lebohang Dhludhlu. I was born in Limpopo and grew up in the east of Tshwane. I am the founder and director of Nkanyezi Farming, which has over 300 clients in Gauteng and Mpumalanga. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture and have over 56 resellers who resell my chickens.

I want to turn Nkanyezi Poultry Farming into a professionally managed commercial enterprise. My advice to aspiring farmers is that farming is not easy, farming is not a get rich quick scheme, and farming is tricky because you can have R200K today and have R50 tomorrow. It requires passion and perseverance. If you have started your business, well done.

Meet Zikhaya Sithole, a man who risked his life to save kids that were trapped in a burning shack. He is now known as a Legend. As he was making his way home from a local truck shop, he heard a mother's desperate cry for assistance. The women's two little babies were trapped in a burning shack and were about to die. Without giving second thought to his own life, Zikhaya courageously jumped into action, entered a shack to save two little ones. But he did not have chance to save a one-year-old baby Whose life was taken by the hot flames of fire. He said his partner couldn't believe that he was the one when he returned home with the burns and called paramedics immediately. His injuries from his selfless deed were so serious that he could no longer work, his hands were burnt too so he could continue the welding work he used to do. The brave move he took did not come without a price as he was burnt severely that ended in full nody burn marks, a loss of some of his eye sight and full usage of his hands.

My name is Siphelele "T**i" Siyaya, I’m a pig farmer 🐖👩🏾‍🌾 and the founder of Madlikivane Piggery🐖🐖, from KwaNongoma in KZN.

When I started working as a teacher, I saved money to buy land for my pig farm. What motivated me to venture into pig farming is the love I have for pigs❤️🐖🐖, which my maternal grandmother instilled in me when I was younger. I also wanted to create job opportunities in my community🔥.

What I can say to young people who are passionate about farming is to make sure they do research 📕on what they would like to venture into, visit as many farms as they possibly can, and engage with other farmers🧑🏿‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾. It will get tough, and there will be challenges along the way🥹, but that won’t mean you should give up. Also, I want to urge other farmers to be open to sharing their experiences with aspiring farmers🫶🏽; this really helped me when I started my pig farming journey.
