A Wholesome Tongue

A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything--or destroy it! It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire.
(James 3:5 MSG).

Your tongue is one of the very small parts of your body however, it can do a great harm if it’s not used properly. Some of God’s children have carelessly altered their lives just because they couldn’t control their tongues.

‘How do I speak with a wholesome tongue as God’s child?’ You may ask. It’s simply by spending more time in fellowship with God’s Word, meditating on it, and speaking in tongues more often than before.

As you do this, the Holy Spirit will put the right words in your heart and your words will ‘’...always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one’’ (Colossians 4:6). Hallelujah!

Thank you, dear heavenly Father, for the gift of your Word. As I spend time studying and meditating on it today, the right thoughts, ideas and words fill my heart, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
