A distribution deal is also NOT a recording deal.

A distribution deal again is NOT marketing deal

All of these things are different....

BUT a distribution is an agreement 🤝🏼 between artists and company to place your music in different music platforms/stores

So a distribution company will place your music on Channels such as - Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify etc...

The deal END 🙅🏽 once the music has been placed or once the music is available on these channels, then YOU will still need to do the publishing, marketing and monitoring..

You need to understand the following

1. You need to understand how these companies charge and what they charge for

2. Know a duration of the contract

3. How they will monitor the results 🤔?

4. What's in it for you once music gets streamed?

5. Do they provide reports for your song performance...
