In 2005 Kiran Gosai found his passion for deep trance music after having been exposed to rave at an early age. His love for the genre continued to grow as new artists and styles were discovered. One year later he started mixing tracks using DJ mixing software, his first being KraMixer. Through various methods of experimentation, Kiran gained some experience as a DJ but felt that mixing was not the
only aspect he wanted to follow as a DJ. Due to his schooling career Kiran took a break from the music world for a while. His 2-year absence gave him insight and inspiration as to what the true meaning of trance music really is. In 2008 Kiran was introduced to GOA trance as well as the trance legends from Armin Van Buuren to ATB, Aly & Fila, Above & Beyond and Simon Patterson just to name a few. From there the fire to mix and produce was reignited. In January 2009 Kiran received a demo version of a music-producing program and started almost immediately. But his lack of inspiration, confusion and complete frustration of not being able to produce tracks like the pro’s lead to a further 4-month absence from the trance universe. He managed to gather the courage to get back on the horse and thus completed his first 4 tracks.
“Blank Reflection” was his very first production, a range of electronic sounds and intense beats were used to create this track, but it was very simple and not appealing as a true trance production. “Forgotten Dreamz” was to follow, this track was of a similar nature as “Blank Reflection” but he still felt that there was something missing. “The Countdown Begins” and “Wave Of Motion” proved to be a success as these tracks had more complicated riffs and incorporated with a lot more sounds, Kiran also discovered the piano and has used it effectively in his latest tracks. Through amazing response from friends and family, the DeeAnork persona was born. Shifting from trance, Kiran experimented with electronica for a while which really gave him the edge after producing tracks like “Twilight Guardian” and “Behind The Glass Door”. After listening to artists such as ATB and Apple&Stone, Kiran realized the beauty and true euphoria that ambient trance has to offer, and set out to produce a few ambient tracks of his own. Today DeeAnork has his sights set on new dreams and goals. He hopes to release his first album as well as a few mix compilations and hopes to bring the genre of trance to new levels.
