The National Forum for Human Rights Obtains Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council
The National Forum for Human Rights has obtained consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which is an international recognition of the National Forum for Human Rights' (NFHR) ongoing efforts to promote and defend human rights in Yemen.
The consultative status will enable the National Forum to participate more effectively in global policy discussions, submit reports and recommendations on human rights issues to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and enhance collaboration with other non-governmental organizations, governments, and international bodies to promote and protect human rights in Yemen.
This significant step is a major accomplishment for the Forum, as it provides us with the opportunity to expand our work and increase our influence on an international level, benefiting our humanitarian causes and bolstering our efforts to improve human rights conditions in Yemen.
The National Forum for Human Rights reaffirms its commitment to continue working diligently and sincerely to defend human rights, promote social justice, and peace. We look forward to leveraging this opportunity to strengthen our cooperation with the international community and work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and create a better future for all.

الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان يحصل على الصفة الاستشارية في المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي بالأمم المتحدة
حصل الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان على الصفة الاستشارية في المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للأمم المتحدة (ECOSOC) وهو الامر الذي اعترافًا دوليًا بجهود الملتقى الوطني (NFHR) المستمرة في مجال تعزيز حقوق الإنسان والدفاع عنها في اليمن.
ستمكن الصفة الاستشارية الملتقى الوطني من المشاركة بشكل أكثر فاعلية في مناقشات السياسات العالمية، وتقديم التقارير والتوصيات بشأن قضايا حقوق الإنسان إلى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للأمم المتحدة, وتعزيز التعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية الأخرى والحكومات والهيئات الدولية، بهدف تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في اليمن.

الملتقى الوطني (NFHR) يكشف عن (1493) واقعة انتهاك، منها (1141) واقعة انتهاك للاعتقالات، و(55) واقعة للإخفاء القسري، و(297) واقعة للتعذيب وسوء المعاملة، في 22 محافظة يمنية خلال النصف الأول من العام 2023.

الملتقى الوطني يختتم ورشة العمل الخاصة دور المشرعين والقضاة والمدعين العامين والمحامين في إنفاذ القوانين المتعلقة بالاعتقال والاحتجاز
اختتمت يوم الخميس 15 نوفمبر 2012 بالعاصمة صنعاء ورشة العمل الخاصة "دور المشرعين والقضاة والمدعين العامين والمحامين في إنفاذ القوانين المتعلقة بالاعتقال والاحتجاز" التي نفذها الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان بالتعاون مع بعثة مفوضية الإتحاد الأوربي لدى الجمهورية اليمنية، ضمن مشروع "تعزيز¬¬¬ دور القانون في قضايا الاحتجاز والاعتقالات التعسفية".
شارك في الورشة التي استمرت يومين 50 مشاركاً من أعضاء مجلسي النواب والشورى وقضاة من مكتب النائب العام والمحاكم ومحامون وضباط بوزارة الداخلية، قدمت خلالها 6 أوراق عمل شملت على:
"صكوك حقوق الإنسان الدولية والإقليمية الرئيسية وآليات تنفيذها" قدمها القاضي د. هيكل عثمان
"الدور الأساسي للمشرعين والقضاة والمدعين العامين والمحامين في إنفاذ أحكام قانون حقوق الإنسان الدولي أثناء التحقيقات الجنائية" قدمها د. عبدالمؤمن شجاع الدين
"الحق في المحاكمة العادلة من مرحلة القبض والتحقيق والمحاكمة إلى الحكم النهائي" قدمها د.محمد نعمان
" حقوق الإنسان والاعتقال والاحتجاز السابق للمحاكمة والاحتجاز الإداري" قدمها المحامي/ عبدالله المشرقي
كما أستعرض الأستاذ/ خالد عايش رئيس الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان نتائج أعمال المراجعة التحليلية للنظام الحمائي والضبطي في اليمن من المنظور الإداري والإجرائي التي تضمنها التقرير النهائي لأعمال النزول الميداني الذي تم تنفيذ بمنطقة المشروع (الحديدة - المحويت - أمانة العاصمة - عدن - الضالع)، فيما استعرض الأستاذ/ عزت مصطفى مدير المشروع ورقة عمل حول اجراءات الرقابة المؤسسية والرقابة المجتمعية لضمان إنفاذ القوانين فيما يتعلق بشروط الاعتقال والاحتجاز.
وفي ختام جلسات ورشة العمل أصدر المشاركون توصيات للجهات المعنية لتحسين ظروف وشروط الاعتقال والاحتجاز واماكنها.
وكان الأستاذ/ محمد علي الشدادي نائب رئيس مجلس النواب قد افتتح ورشة العمل صباح الربعاء 14 نوفمبر 2012م، مشيداً بدور الملتقى الوطني NFHR بتنفيذ مثل هذه المشاريع الهامة الهادفة إلى التوعية بتحسين ظروف الاعتقال والاحتجاز والتنسيق بين الجهات المعنية بهذا الخصوص، مبدياً استعداده لعرض التوصيات المتعلقة بسن التشريعات على مجلس النواب، لتحسين القوانين المتعلقة بهذا الشأن وموائمتها بصكوك حقوق الإنسان الإقليمية والدولية والاتفاقات الدولية المصادقة عليها اليمن، مشيراً إلى ضرورة التقيد بدستور الجمهورية اليمنية الذي ينص في الفقرة (ج) من المادة (48) التي تنص على ضرورة تقديم المتهمين إلى القضاء خلال 24 ساعة على الأكثر من تاريخ القبض عليه، وتجنب الاجتهادات الشخصية من قبل مأموري الضبط القضائي بهذا الشأن.
من جانبهم ألقى كل من اللواء/ عبدالرحمن البروي وكيل وزارة الداخلية لقطاع خدمات الشرطة، والقاضي/ عبدالله مهيوب القدسي المحامي العام الأول بمكتب النائب العام، ، والسيدة/ ماري من بعثة مفوضية الاتحاد الأوربي لدى الجمهورية اليمنية كلمات عبروا فيها عن أهمية ورشة العمل وضرورة التنسيق بين الجهات المعنية لتلافي القصور وتحسين أوضاع أماكن الاحتجاز والاعتقال والحبس.
وقد عبر الأستاذ/ خالد عايش رئيس الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان عن ترحيبه بالحضور، منوهاً إلى ضرورة تشكيل لجنة من قبل المشاركين لمتابعة تنفيذ التوصيات التي ستخرج بها ورشة العمل.

Stone Cold Justice: Israel’s torture of Palestinian children - ABC Australia

A film which has been produced by a group of Australian journalists has sparked an international outcry against Israel after it explicitly detailed Tel Aviv's use of torture against Palestinian children.
The film, titled ‘Stone Cold Justice’ documents how Palestinian children, who have been arrested and detained by Israeli forces, are subjected to physical abuse, torture and forced into false confessions and pushed into gathering intelligence on Palestinian activists. Australia's foreign minister Julie Bishop has spoken out against Israeli's use of torture stating that “I am deeply concerned by allegations of the mistreatment of Palestinian children,” Israel's Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor has described the human rights abuses documented in the film as “intolerable”. But rights groups have slammed this statement, saying that the Israelis are doing nothing to change Tel Aviv's policy to torture Palestinian children. Last year a report by the United Nations International Emergency Children's Fund or UNICEF concluded that Palestinian children are often targeted in night arrests and raids of their homes, threatened with death and subjected to physical violence, solitary confinement and sexual assault. The film Stone Cold Justice has sparked an international outcry about Israel's treatment of children in Israeli jails. However, rights groups have criticized Tel Aviv for not doing anything to create a policy that protects Palestinian children against arbitrary arrest and torture.

العدالة الباردة: تعذيب إسرائيل للأطفال الفلسطينيين

كما أشار التقرير الى ان عدد الجهات القائمة بالانتهاكات بلغ (10) جهات، تصدرت (ميليشيات الحوثي) قائمة تلك الجهات بارتكابها (925) واقعة انتهاك، تلتها (السلطات الأمنية) بارتكابها (193) واقعة انتهاك، و(التشكيلات الأمنية والعسكرية التابعة للمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي) بارتكابها (147) واقعة انتهاك، و(ميليشيات حزب التجمع اليمني للإصلاح المنضوية الى حكومة ما يسمى بالشرعية) بارتكابها (112) واقعة انتهاك،

The National Forum (NFHR) reveals (1493) incidents of violation, including (1141) violations of arrests, (55) cases of enforced disappearance, and (297) cases of torture and ill-treatment, in 22 Yemeni governorates during the first half of the year 2023.
The National Forum for Human Rights NFHR launched the semi-annual report on arbitrary arrest and detention, enforced disappearance, torture and ill-treatment for the first half of the year 2023. The report included (1493) incidents of violation in all Yemeni governorates, distributed between arbitrary arrest and detention with (1141) incidents of violation and disappearance. Forced violations with (55) incidents of violation, and torture and ill-treatment with (297) violations. These incidents varied from one month to another during the first half of this year, as the month (February) was issued with (295) violations, followed by the month of (April) with a number (292) incidents of violation, and the month (January) with (262) incidents of violation, and the month (May) with (262) incidents of violation. (Ibb) topped the list of governorates with (189) violations, followed by (Taiz) with (185) an incident of violation, (Marib) governorate with (179) incidents of violation, (Amanat Al-Asimah and Sana’a governorate) with (143) incidents of violation, (Shabwa) governorate with (130) incidents of violation, and (Dhamar) governorate with (130) incidents of violation and (Aden) governorate with (71) cases of violation.
The report also indicated that the number of entities carrying out violations amounted to (10) entities, with (the Houthi militia) topping the list of those entities with (925) violations, followed by (the security authorities) with (193) violations, and (the security and military formations of the Transitional Council). Southern) for committing (147) incidents of violation, and (the militias of the Yemeni Islah Party affiliated with the government of the so-called legitimacy) for committing (112) incidents of violation,

Press release of the quarterly report on the human rights situation in Yemen for the second quarter of 2023
The National Forum (NFHR) reveals (3408) incidents of violation, (6343) victims, including (2486) children, and (2147) women.
The National Forum for Human Rights (NFHR) launched the quarterly report on the human rights situation in Yemen for the second quarter of 2023, the report included that the Forum documented (3408) incidents of violation in all Yemeni governorates, including (1169) incidents of violation in the month of (April) and (1026) incidents of violation in the month of (May), and (1213) incidents of violation in the month of (June), the incidents of violations affected those facts (21) human rights, and the number of victims reached (6343) victims, including (2486) children, and (2147) women , and the number of violators (17) Entity.
The report also included careful monitoring of the role played by the official government authorities regarding the incidents of violations during the first quarter of 2023, as the report indicated the distribution of the role between "the negative role, committing the facts of violations, the lack of knowledge of the government authorities of a number of incidents, and the official authorities' position as instigator of the violation, in addition to a limited number of positive roles of government authorities regarding the facts of violations.
The report also indicated that (308) citizens' homes have been subjected to various violations, in addition to attacking (379) private and public property, distributed between destruction, looting, raids, robbery and illegal confiscation.

الملتقى الوطني (NFHR) يكشف عن (3408) واقعة انتهاك، و(6343) ضحية، منهم (2486) طفلا، و(2147) امرأة.
أطلق الملتقى الوطني لحقوق الإنسان NFHR التقرير الربع السنوي لحالة حقوق الإنسان في اليمن للربع الثاني للعام 2023، تضمن التقرير على قيام الملتقى بتوثيق (3408) واقعة انتهاك في كافة المحافظات أليمنية منها (1169) واقعة انتهاك بشهر (ابريل) و (1026) واقعة انتهاك بشهر (مايو)، و (1213) واقعة انتهاك بشهر (يونيو)، طالت وقائع الانتهاكات تلك الوقائع (21) حق من حقوق الإنسان، وبلغ عدد ضحاياها (6343) ضحية، منهم (2486) طفلا، و(2147) امرأة، كما بلغ عدد الجهات القائمة بالانتهاك (17) جهة.
التقرير تضمن أيضا على رصدا دقيقا للدور الذي لعبته السلطات الحكومية الرسمية حيال وقائع الانتهاكات خلال الربع الأول من العام 2023، حيث بين التقرير الى توزع الدور بين "الدور السلبي, وارتكاب وقائع الانتهاكات، وعدم علم لسلطات الحكومية بعدد من الوقائع، ووقوف السلطات الرسمية موقف المحرض على الانتهاك، بالإضافة الى عدد محدود من الدور الايجابي للسلطات الحكومية حيال وقائع الانتهاكات.
كما أشار التقرير الى ان (308) منزل من منازل المواطنين قد تعرضت للانتهاكات المختلفة، إضافة الى الاعتداء على (379) من الممتلكات الخاصة والعامة وتوزعت بين التدمير والنهب والمداهمة والسطو والمصادرة الغير قانونية.

The National Forum for Human Rights (NFHR) launched the information maps report on the human rights situation in Yemen for the month of June 2023, and the report included that the Forum documented (1213) incidents of violation, in all Yemeni governorates, the governorate of (Taiz) topped the list of governorates with (279) incidents of violation , followed by (Amanat Al-Asimah and Sana'a Governorate) with (149) A violation incident, Ibb governorate with (91) violation incidents, Hajjah governorate with (81) violation incidents, (Saada) governorate with (77) violation incidents, (Hodeidah) governorate with (67) violation incidents, and (Al-Dhalea) governorate with (65) violation incidents, and the violation of the right to life "murder" recorded the highest violated rights with (410) violation incidents, and physical assault (288) Incident of violation, attempted murder (133) incidents, arbitrary arrest and detention (98) incidents of violation, violation of the right to property (96) incidents of violation, violation of the right to housing (55) incidents of violation, violation of the right to access medical services (31) incidents of violation, violation of the right to freedom of movement and travel (25) A violation incident, torture and ill-treatment with (14) incidents of violation, and the report indicated that the number of victims of these incidents amounted to (1710) victims, including (183) children, and (301) women, and the report added that the number of violators has reached (17) parties, topped the list of those parties committed (666) incidents of violation, followed by (security authorities) committing (114) incidents of violation, (citizens) committing (106) incidents of violation, (militias of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform party affiliated with the government of the so-called legitimacy) committing (97) incidents of violation, (security and military formations of the Southern Transitional Council) committing (77) incidents of violation, and (unknown gunmen) committing (60) incidents.) incident of violation, and (army forces loyal to the government of the so-called legitimacy) committed (25) incidents of violation, and (commercial sector) committed (16) incidents of violation, and (Saudi army forces) committed (14) incidents of violation, and the report indicated that (116) houses of citizens have been subjected to various violations, in addition to the attack on (156) of private and public property and distributed between destruction, looting, raid, robbery and illegal confiscation.
