tions. If you love the outdoors, there are abundant hiking trails, rivers, and waterfalls to explore. The Blue Ridge and Pisgah National Forests, Blue Ridge Parkway, Arboretum, Mountains to Sea Trail, French Broad River, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, Bear Wallow, and the Florence Nature Preserve are all an easy drive from the cabin. And after an exhilarating day of hiking, canoeing, or adventuring, return to the peace and comfort of your beautifully furnished cabin. If you enjoy cooking, we have a well equipped kitchen and gas grill on the deck. The round dining table seats 6, and there’s a picnic table outside. The large wrap around partially covered deck is the perfect spot to kick back, relax, and bask in the splendor of the Blue Ridge mountains. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have comfortable queen size beds and private bathrooms. Luxuriate in the master bath's claw foot bathtub with wooded view. See the sun come up and the stars shine bright from the hand-hewn locust log bed in the large master loft. The great room has a gas log pot belly stove with comfy chairs. A beautifully hand crafted futon sofa in the TV area can be used as an extra bed. For indoor entertainment, there’s wireless internet, satellite TV, 46” LED TV, blue ray disk player, and Netflix. Or go low-tech with games and puzzles around the table or grab a book or magazine from our well stocked library.
