According to Luca Bendoni, Atlanta United have reportedly submitted an official bid to Middlesbrough for forward Emmanuel Latte Lath. The offer is worth around €18m including €1m in add-ons + important salary proposal to Latte Lath.

🇨🇮 Emmanuel Latte Lath (26) of Middlesbrough

🇫🇷 Odsonne Edouard (26) of Crystal Palace (loan at Leicester City)

Latte Lath has 10 goals in 26 matches for Championship side Middlesbrough.

Edouard has 0 goals in 4 matches for Premier League side Leicester City.

Tom Bogert says the situation with Celtic's Kyogo Furuhashi has cooled. ATL UTD still interested, but focused on Latte Lath /Edouard.

Atlanta United has signed forward Cayman Togashi on a free transfer through the 2025 MLS season with an option for 2026. Togashi most recently played for Sagan Tosu in the Japanese top-flight. He was born in the US and brings 10 years of professional experience to Atlanta.

Togashi, 31, comes to MLS after spending his entire professional career in Japan. The forward was born in New York City. He moved to Yokohama, Japan when he was young. He joined the Yokohama F. Marinos youth academy but then decided to play collegiate soccer in Japan at Kanto Gakuin University.

Atlanta United are reportedly considering a move for Celtic striker Kyogo. Ronny Deila is apparently keen on the Japanese international.

Stephen McGowan says an offer for £10M happened during the summer and remain interested.

The 29-year-old has 8 goals and 3 assists in 23 games in all competitions this season.

He's won trophies at nearly every stop as a manager, including with NYCFC in 2021.

🔴⚫ OFFICIAL: Atlanta United has acquired midfielder Mateusz Klich via trade from D.C. United in exchange for ’s first round pick (No. 23) in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft. D.C. United will maintain a percentage of Klich’s 2025 salary budget charge and his Designated Player spot. If Atlanta re-signs the player to a new contract, D.C. United will receive $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money. In Atlanta, Klich will occupy both a senior roster and international slot.

Sporting Director Chris Henderson: “Mateusz is a central midfielder with proven quality both in this league and at the highest levels in Europe. He’s had two quality seasons in MLS since joining the league in 2023. He’s a good chance creator, while also being able to dictate the tempo of a game from the middle of the pitch. We believe his qualities and leadership will be a good addition to our midfield.”

Prior to joining MLS, Klich played five seasons at Leeds United in England. After joining the side in 2018-19, he helped the team get promoted to the Premier League the following season. He made 82 appearances in the Premier League over the next three seasons for Leeds. He finished his Leeds career with 195 total appearances across all competitions, scoring 24 goals and adding 22 assists.

A couple of weekends later, Atlanta’s first of four featured Sunday matches sees the club play Inter Miami CF at the Benz (March 16, 7 p.m).
