Boston Harbor’s water is actually clean… and @ConservationLawFoundation made it happen. They fought for a clean harbor, back in the 80s, and won. It took years to actually clean the harbor but now waste from 43 communities travels through pipes to Deer Island where our wastewater treatment facility lives! It doesn’t go into the harbor… it’s safe to enjoy. SO GO ENJOY IT! Whether it’s the harbor, beaches or the Harborwalk *celebrating a 40th birthday* there’s an activity for everyone. After CLF won the lawsuit, the Harborwalk idea was born and now spans 43 miles. There are so many public activities along the Harborwalk (learn more at @bostonharbornow) and many amenities too. This Cape Cod Canal cruise is super chill, the family loved it! Find it through @hylinecruises! The adventure leaves from Onset, Massachusetts and takes you on a journey along the canal while an acoustic duo plays a set on board. There are plenty of great views along the way! NEW: Bus Boston to Newport! Leaving from Boston’s South Station is a nonstop bus to Newport. The $60 round trip ticket will get you there and back between Friday and Monday. We went just for the day! The bus leaves at 9am and takes you to the Newport bus terminal where you can board the FREE hop on hop off trolley. We took it to the Cliff Walk to see the new elephant migration installation. Definitely go to Cru Cafe for lunch - their sandwiches are amazing and the Newport Harbor Shuttle is a hop on hop off situation too and makes a few stops around the harbor. We were just on it for the ride, it was a beautiful day! Don’t miss: Bowen and Banister Wharf also Thames Street! Also don’t miss your bus back to Boston, it leaves at 6:30pm! It’s World Ocean Day! And June is National Ocean Month - the perfect time to visit the @mystic_aquarium in Connecticut to learn about the marine sanctuary (like an underwater national park) off of New England’s coast! @ConservationLawFoundation first told me about “The Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument” and immediately I knew I needed to learn more. To the aquarium! They have an exhibit called Ocean Refuge, telling the story of this marine monument + there are other great exhibits to explore too. When I went, I got to meet Peter Auster, Mystic Aquarium Senior Research Scientist and research professor emeritus of marine sciences at UConn. His passion is infectious! I find our oceans to be so fascinating (and I love animals so much) but I look forward to the potential discoveries he and his team might find inside this marine sanctuary and living laboratory off of Cape Cod’s coast! Visit the aquarium about an hour and a half south of Boston in Mystic, Connecticut to check out the exhibit!

First in Bristol 🌼 + Rent a bike (electric optional) from Bristol Bikes right in town. The East Bay Bike Path is exceptional. We bumped into @delslemonade along the route! + Next door is an overnight option: @Bristol_Harbor_Inn + Grab a vegan lunch at @basilandbunny, get the Nashville Hot or the crunchwrap! + Explore the 33 acres at @blithewold_ri - the blooming season begins in April with 100,000 daffodils. Next in Warren 🍻 + Shop & explore Main and Water street + Grab a beer flight (with seltzer options) at @theguildwarren + @waterdog_warren is a must for dinner, located inside a cool, old building with an incredible menu. We loved the shrimp rangoon, waterdog and dirty fish & chips. + After dinner, find live music or karaoke at @galactictheatre In the morning ☀️ + Walking distance from the Inn is @the.beehive.cafe, I love the butternut cornbread hash. + We went to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center & Aquarium. This spot is great for kids, but we loved walking the trail and saw so much activity along the path. @riaudubon + Head to @squarepegwarren for lunch + The best cider I’ve ever had is at @sowamsciderworks - it’s not sweet at all and not bubbly. The single person chairlift on the island of Capri, Italy was built so that many people could have access to see the views on top of Monte Solaro, so we’re told. It was built in 1952 and re-done in the 90s. The ride up to Capri’s highest peak is about 10 minutes, tickets are 14€ each for both ways. There’s a bar on top and it runs every month of the year except January. If you travel for cats, you’ll find a few up there. There’s also a bar with snacks and coffee (we got limoncello spritz’s). You can take a bus from the marina or Capri town to Anacapri for about €5. If you’re headed to the Amalfi Coast, add this to your adventure! #chairlift #visititaly #capriitaly

Here's the first vocabulary lesson in ✨Rugby 101✨ Scrum: it happens when either team loses the ball forward (bc in rugby we throw backward or sideways), 8 players on each team assume the position (the scrum), and it's basically a wrestling match of which team can get the ball. BUT only specific players can actually touch the ball in this scenario. More to come.
