This track has a lot more meaning than you might think. While digging in my cellar last week, I found this record in a old flycase and my memories came back to the surface. In the south of France, in 1995, I went to hear Laurent Garnier and Miss Monica. It was an evening that marked me forever. I was already asking myself the question, am I trying to make this my real job?
Laurent Garnier delivered as usual a great set but Miss Monica was extraordinary and I was blown away by her performance. She obviously played this track and brought everyone up 🙂 More than 25 years later, I was able to talk to her about that night. She remembered it perfectly. I was able to tell her that it was because of her that I stopped asking myself too many questions and decided to try this adventure. As a woman, we can do it…I played the track that saturday for her. I dedicate this post to her and thank her for showing me that it is possible…
Last week was 🙌 Thank you so much Unilive Festival for such a warm welcome, it was really cool and always a pleasure to play in my beloved city with all my friends & family 🥰 Behind me, my two daughters who were there, the youngest is 9 years old 🙂 she attended her mother's concert for the first time ☺️
