New to makeup? Here are 6 products that you’ll want to start with:

1. A foundation or tinted moisturizer. I love the Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer or the MakeSense Foundation by SeneGence. They color adjust to your skin tone so it’s hard to choose the wrong shade!
2. A bronzer. The Merit Beauty Bronze Balm is great for beginners. I also love their Flush Balm Cheek Colors!
3. A concealer that matches your skin tone. If you have dry skin, the Kosas Revealer Concealer is a great option. I also love the Color Correcting Concealers from SeneGence
4. A blush. There are so many great blush options! My personal favorite are by SeneGence, Haus Labs and Merit Beauty.
5. A lengthening mascara. Loving the Tower 28 Make Waves Mascara and the SeneGence FiberExtend and VolumeIntense Mascara.
6. A lip color that makes you feel good!

Have you tried a tubing mascara?This mascara gets an A from me!After wearing it all day, it stayed in place and didn’t smudge. I watched the movie IF with my family that night and was tearing up (anyone else cry at all animated movies?) and wiping my eyes and it didn’t run, budge or smudge. Plus it was easy to take off at night, and much cleaner to remove than my other mascaras. For a $7 mascara, this gets my stamp of approval.
