It doesn’t matter the number of good things you do, you will still meet difficult people in life.

(1) They will mock you.

(2) They will criticize you.

(3) They will discourage you.

(4) They will fight you.

(5) They will speak negative things about you.

(6) They will tell lies about you.

(7) They will steal your joy and bring you down to zero level...

Good day everyone. Have you heard or read of a man who established a zoo and made the entrance fee N50,000= but no one went there. He reduced it to N40,000= but still no one came. He then reduced the fee to N20,000= still people didn't come. Finally, he made it FREE entrance and soon, the zoo was filled with people. Then, he quietly locked the gate of the zoo, set the lions free and made the exit fee N150,000= and everyone paid.

MORAL

A. As you go about in life, beware of free offers.

i. Most of the time, they are big traps.

ii. Behind every free gift, there is high possibility of an ulterior motive.

iii. You may lose your life trying to get a free ride.

iv. You may lose all your money trying to get free airtime or free data.

B. Note that most promotions on the Internet, Facebook and WhatsApp platforms are big scams.

Today we live in a human society where there's no free lunch. The 'tat' you would give for the 'tit' you received could be too costly for you.

i. Avoid it. Why? Because everything with value is valuable, it can never be actually or totally free!

Shiv Khera, a renowned author and management trainer writes about his experience in Singapore :

"Six years ago in Singapore I gave a taxi driver a business card to take me to a particular address.

At the last point he circled round the building. His meter read 11$, but he took only 10.

I said Henry, your meter reads 11$ how come you are taking only 10.

He said Sir, I am a taxi driver, I am supposed to be bringing you straight to the destination. Since I did not know the last spot, I had to circle around the building. Had I brought you straight here, the meter would have read 10$.

Why should you be paying for my ignorance ?

He said Sir, legally, I can claim 11$ but Honestly and ethically I am entitled to only 10.

He further added that Singapore is a tourist destination and many people come here for three or four days. After clearing the immigrations and customs, the first experience is always with the taxi driver and if that is not good, the balance three to four days are not pleasant either.

He said Sir I am not a taxi driver, I am the Ambassador of Singapore without a diplomatic passport.

In my opinion he probably did not go to school beyond the 8th grade, but to me he was a professional. To me his behavior reflected pride in performance and character.

That day I learnt that one needs more than professional qualification to be a professional.

In one line be a "Professional with a human touch and Values " that makes all the more difference.

Knowledge, skill, money, education, all comes later. First comes Human Values, Honesty and Integrity

*YOU DON'T OWE ANYONE AN APOLOGY FOR BEING GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO.....!*

Those who are mediocre's, hardly celebrate or see anything good in others. Maybe that’s why they remain mediocre .

Never allow them to infest you with their mediocrity, avoid them like the plague. Keep improving yourself, keep getting better no matter how little.

Those little improvements consistently done, will compound, snowball into something big and great. That will make room for you in your family, amongst friends, in your country and the world at large.

Remember this, you become what you repeatedly DO and not what you KNOW. Too much knowledge out there in the world today, but only few apply wisdom. Start doing what you know(wisdom) to become.

*"I wanted to do " and "I am doing it" both are not the same* . Doing is an action word(verb) Once you've decided on what to do, JUST DO IT!

*FIX YOURSELF FIRST !*
*My sister told me an interesting story. She said "A woman was on a plane that was almost crashing with her daughter and they were both gasping for air. The mum tried to fix the oxygen on her daughter first but she could not because she was equally gasping for breath. She tried and tried to no avail until she heard a voice in her heart saying, fix yourself first.*

*Immediately she fixed her oxygen, she had enough strength to fix that of her daughter's. As soon as it was fixed, her daughter also got back her strength and they both survived.*

*This is the story of most women today, we give our all to every one else leaving ourselves behind.*

*You serve every one in the house and leave little or nothing for yourself to eat, that is the old way. Share everything to every one as it is in the pot. If you fall sick, who fixes your house for you?*

*Do not stress yourself too much, most times women do all the work in the house leaving themselves so tired and worked out, when you fall, who fixes your home for you, tell me who?*

*You buy clothes for every one leaving your self 'naked' One day even your children will be ashamed of you because of your dressing, fix yourself up, sis.*

*You keep building the lives of every one around you, yet you are doing nothing about yourself, one day you will realize that you should have fixed yourself too.*

*Quarrel Destroys Mankind*

A farmer in ancient China had a neighbour who was a hunter, and who owned ferocious and poorly trained hunting dogs.

They jumped over the fence frequently and chased the farmer's lambs. The farmer asked his neighbour to keep his dogs in check, but this fell on deaf ears.

One day the dogs again jumped the fence, attacked and severely injured several of the lambs.

The farmer had enough of his neighbours negligence. He ‎went to town to consult a judge who listened carefully to the story and said: "I could punish the hunter and ‎ instruct him to keep his dogs chained or lock them up. But you would lose a friend and gain an enemy. Which would you rather have, friend or foe for a neighbour?"

The farmer replied that he preferred a friend. “Alright, I will offer you a solution that keeps your lambs safe, and which will keep your neighbour as a friend."

Having heard the judge's solution, the farmer agreed. Once at home, the farmer immediately put the judge's suggestions to the test.

He took three of his best lambs and presented them to his neighbour's three small sons, who were overjoyed to receive such lovely pets and began to play with them.

To protect his sons newly acquired playthings, the hunter built a strong kennel for his dogs. Since then, the dogs never again bothered the farmer's lambs.

Out of gratitude for the farmer's generosity toward his sons, the hunter often shared the game he had hunted with the farmer.

The farmer reciprocated by sending the hunter, lamb meat and cheese he had made. Within a short time the neighbours became good friends.

A saying in old China went something like this, “One can win over and influence people the best with gestures of kindness and compassion.”

There is another similar Western saying: “One catches more flies with honey than with vinegar." And, “Do you know what is better than charity and fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind.”

Kindness and compassion are signs of faith. Let us make it a part of us to be polite when we speak and not make rude remarks and bring people down with our words at every opportunity we get, especially with our families, friends and colleagues.

1. No to refined oil
2. No to animal milk
3. No to maggi or other seasoning cubes (broths).
4. No to consumption of carbonated juices from various breweries (32 lumps of sugar per litre)

11. No to keeping water in the fridge in plastic bottles...

13. Deodorants are dangerous especially when used after shaving.
