I love Affiliate Marketing for a myriad of reasons. It enables you to help others get what they want and need while creating an active and/or passive income for you. You aren’t creating or storing physical products that cost a lot to ship and are susceptible to getting broken or old or just simply malfunctioning, etc. It doesn’t matter what you are interested in, you can build your business around it. Love bow hunting? Awesome! Build your business around it. Vacationing on cruise ships is your thing? Cool. Build your business around it. Whatever your passion is, you have worked hard to learn it and you now possess information about it others want and need. Whether you choose to share that information via blog posts or YouTube videos is up to you. As long as you continually create good content for your audience, others who share your interest will continue to learn from you. I absolutely love to work toward improving my life. Obviously you have a strong interest in this too. I chose to build my business around Advance Dynamix. As the saying goes, if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.

Digital products are available online 24/7. If your customer wants to buy your product at 3:00am while sitting in their underwear, they can do that (all while you are fast asleep). When your customers realize they can know, like and trust you, they become customers for life. When you bring additional high-quality products into your business, they already know you and your reputation and are potential customers again. If you don’t have a large sum of cash to immediately infuse into your business, you can get started with a very minimal amount. There are many high-commission products available. You can operate your business from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection. You can focus solely on a topic that is of great interest to you. If improving health via a ketogenic diet is what keeps you up at night, you can totally build a business around that! The list goes on and on.

I have only listed a handful of companies/products I recommend below. There are many Digital Affiliate Marketers out there who just throw up affiliate links to anything they can think of in hopes of making more commissions. I refuse to do that. I listed ONE hosting company below. I’ve used HostGator for a long time and I like it a lot so I think you will like it too. Their customer service is absolutely unbelievable! Always has been and I suspect it will stay that way. Are there other hosting companies? Of course there are. There are tons out there but I can’t recommend them in good conscience. The same goes for WordPress themes, domains, autoresponders, etc, etc. I’m not the guy who is going to spam you with thousands of affiliate links. If I recommend you check something out, it’s because I already know it, like it and think it will work well for you too! If and when I run across something new in the future that I like and think you may like too, you will be the first to know about it!

The concept of commissioned sales has been around for a long, long time and yet, many still don’t take it into consideration when they are going to make a purchase. Many moons ago, I was a furniture salesman. I jokingly referred to us as “Couch Pimps” back then. At least, until the boss heard it one day. He didn’t see the humor in my newly-found nickname for our profession, to say the least. Anyway, I digress. One day I was walking the floor, looking for customers who wanted my help. I bumped into the man who owned the house directly across the street from my mom when I was growing up. For the purposes of this story, I will call him Bob (not his real name). To say we were both surprised would be an understatement. Bob and I had known each other in a different state, in the 70’s and 80’s. It had been a long time and we were a very long distance from where we had known each before. We spoke for a bit, caught up on old times and then Bob told me he wanted to look around the store some more. I told him I would be in the nearby vicinity and to let me know when I could help him. The next thing I know, he had grabbed one of my co-workers and bought $7,000 worth of furniture! I was flabbergasted. How could Bob do this to me?!? Bob didn’t do it intentionally. He just hadn’t taken the concept of commission-based sales into consideration. From that day on, I always make sure to ask any salesman that is helping me if they work on a commission. It’s very important but easily taken for granted. HOSTGATOR – I’ve been using HostGator for a long time. They make it extremely easy to get a professional looking WordPress site up in no time at all. 1/3 of all the Internet now runs on WordPress sites! It’s super simple to use, their up-time is 99.9% and their tech support is fantastic! This, coupled with A-Themes is definitely much more cost-effective than ClickFunnels but is much more labor-intensive to get set up. You have to make the decision of what you have more of, time or money when it comes to deciding which route you are going to take. My advice is to use ClickFunnels if your budget will support it. It enables you to create the entire funnel quickly and easily. If your budget doesn’t support it, a WordPress site will still get your affiliate marketing business up-and-running pretty quick.

ATHEMES – A Themes has many excellent choices for WordPress themes. You can pay $59 for one theme or, you can get yearly access to every single one of their awesome themes for only $99!

FACEBOOK MARKETING – According to the PEW Research Center, 69% of American adults are on Facebook. That is 227 MILLION Americans you can market to! And, it is totally amazing (and somewhat scary) how much data Facebook has on you, me and everyone else. You can really drill down in a target market. It’s absolutely awesome! Because of these facts, Facebook is my number one choice. Facebook advertising is a learned skill. You can blow through a TON of money if you don’t know what you are doing! DO NOT try to just learn by doing. Ask me how I know that. It should definitely be noted here that you can NOT place affiliate links in your Facebook ads. You must send them to a ClickFunnel or website or Shopify store. Every ad I start, begins at $1 a day. This is the way I flesh out the winners and the losers to begin with. Once I know what is working, I then scale the winners and turn off the losers. It’s always amazing at how often something I think looks awesome and it doesn’t do squat and something I think sucks gets a ton of clicks. This has repeatedly been a valuable lesson for me over the years. Just because you or I like the looks of something, that doesn’t mean our customers are going to dig it. A/B split-testing is our friend. We can’t run ads without incorporating it into our strategy. Without it, we are just wasting our time and money. MJ DeMarco did this with the cover of his book and found an overwhelming majority loved the cover he thought sucked and the cover that he (and I) liked best was a total dog in the eyes of the majority. In addition to learning how to successfully run your own ads, Kevin David’s Facebook Ads course also teaches you how you can create a local marketing agency and make an awesome income with advertising local dentists, attorney’s, car dealers, etc. All of those business are probably really good at what they do but most of them totally suck when it comes to getting their business known on social media. There is a HUGE opportunity with this!

NAMECHEAP – The name alone says it all. I’ve used NameCheap for all of my domains for several years. Definitely the best place to get your domain. They also have great customer service. Coming up with a good domain name is extremely important. Some things to take into consideration when doing so are, the shorter the better, words that are easy to spell are best, it should tell people what your site is about and USUALLY don’t misspell words. I know, I know, I violated the last one for this site. I only did that because the “ROCK IT!” vision I had in my mind required the X to be there for the rocket launch. Some of the domains listed here are excellent examples. Take ClickFunnels, NameCheap, Audible and GetResponse for instance, they meet all of the criteria, don’t they? No matter if you choose to go with ClickFunnels or just a simple WordPress site, NameCheap customer service is ready and willing to help you buy and implement the perfect domain. I know this from personal experience.
