When to enroll in Medicare…the 2 most notable times are during your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) and Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).

Initial Enrollment Period: occurs 7 months around your birthday. 3 months prior to your birthday month + your birthday month + 3 months after your birthday month.

Annual Enrollment Period: every October 15-December 7th you can make changes to your Medicare plan (Advantage plans and drug plans) for the following year.

Do you actually ever stop to ask yourself what you need?

You know the mental chatter that keeps going...
"I wish..."
🚴🏼 I could get an hour without guilt to work out.
"I want..."
🛁 to relax in the bath tonight.
"I need..."
⏱a minute to sit down in silence instead of stress.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes we get so caught up in what we think our lives should look like or how we're supposed to "be" in a specific role in our life that WE FORGET (or gloss over) to tune into ourselves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What if you could do all the things AND have time for yourself? What if you unsubscribed to what you think life should look like and created it for you?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm talking about stepping outside the box and inside yourself because we get stuck in patterns that no longer serve us and we stay there because it's a) comfy or b) convenient.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And change is fking hard. ❤️‍🩹
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And yet, at what cost do you settle? Cost is always time and energy. Happiness and alignment. Purpose and fulfillment.

I get stuck in those patterns too. But we get to decide on our desired outcome and make the choice to be limitless. To choose the small shifts that grow the big change.

I'm saying it because I had to figure it out for myself. I had to figure it out through my own guilt and shame and doubts and fears. They don't go away but in the process, we are granted permission to just be ourselves unapologetically. And take what we need out of each day 💞

Woke up in a mood yesterday. Decided to journal my morning pages aka brain dump aka therapy and felt much better after ❤️ Fresh air and hot coffee on the patio helps too. I love rituals.
