N:e:RD Productions is founded by Nicolai Rahbæk Dirchsen (therefor the name "N:e:RD") back in 2002, where he was recruited for his first job- and what a job that was. The construction of the Danish National Opera House in Copenhagen. With the project sponsored by legendary shipping guru Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller, the establishment of the Danish National Opera House in Copenhagen was truly to become a spectacular construction, and only the best material, personal and solutions could be accepted. Due to his previous education, sense for quality and perfection, Nicolai Rahbæk Dirchsen was already one of the future shining stars in the business at that time and therefor headhunted for the work in the Sound and Video installation department. The installation job at the Danish National Opera House was carried out successfully and with a very high level of quality reaching more satisfactory results than one could have hoped for. This kick started Nicolai's career. Consequently Nicolai was clearly chosen to work at the biggest Broadcast Installation job to date build in Denmark- the 1,5 billion USD construction of Danish National TV Station’s new domicile, DR Byen. Despite he’s young age at the time being, Nicolai was operating as the site manager for several years on this project. As well as he was the only person out of hundreds connected to the project, that did installation in both the Film Studios, the Radio Studios and the 4 Concert Halls build there.
