We do voice recording, IVR telephony, talent casting, track laying, ADR, foley and music composition in our Pro Tools HD based studios. Our vintage mic selection includes x2 RCA 44BX, x1 RCA 77DX, x1 Coles 4038, x3 Neumann U87, x2 Neumann U67, x1 Neumann U47fet, x2 Neumann U64, x2 AKG C414 B-ULS. We are Wellington’s only ISDN a
nd certified Source Connect studio, enabling us to connect to any other compatible studio in the world. Located in the Century City Tower in downtown Wellington, New Zealand, in close proximity to hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes, theatres, cinemas, and shops. Our penthouse studios are bathed in natural daylight and have stunning view over the city and harbour. Since 1977, Marmalades legendary Studio A has been famous for producing classic NZ singles and albums, such as Slice of Heaven by Dave Dobbyn, Lydia by Fur Patrol, Language by Annie Crummer, Words by Sharon O’Neil, Montego Bay by Jon Stevens & Churn by Shihad to name a few. The studio was designed and built by Tim Farrant of Buzz Audio to international specification with no expense spared. It is suitable for solo artists through to bands, small orchestra’s and choirs, with flexible acoustics. The control room has stereo tri-amped Quested 212 monitoring, plus a 5.1 system by Genelec. Classic outboard including AMS, Urei, Eventide, Sony and Altec. Our live room is home to a Yamaha C7 7’6” grand piano.
