I strive to teach my kiddos to be kind to themselves and others.

As I do my best to help my 12 year old navigate his self-doubt and negative self-talk, I find so many similarities of his struggle with that of entrepreneurs.

Sometimes the voice in our heads or our self-talk is really that of others

The limits they put on us

The opinions they share

Or the absolutes in their verbiage that poison our self confidence

All of these outside "2 cents" about you from others who will never be you gunks up the filter over your eyes

Everything you think and say to yourself in now going through the gunk others put on you

Now you view yourself, your life through the gunk filter

And you rob yourselves of our full potential

For success

For happiness

For joy

For a fulfilled life
