Week 11 saw most teams back in action and kicking off district play around the area. The holiday weekend had one more tournament in the area at the brand new gym in Grambling at Lincoln Prep. Gibsland-Coleman, Arcadia, Lincoln Prep, and Ringgold participated.

Heading into the last full month of basketball and some schools are still in a holiday break. The last tournaments of the season took place in Negreet, Bossier, and Ouachita Parish. Red River travelled down south to participate in French Settlement tournament.

The Shreveport Mudbugs Hockey split with the Corpus Christi this week ending an 8 game winning streak. Midway through the season they are in good position for another playoff run. The boys will home the next two weekends at home. Go check them out.

The Shreveport Mudbugs split the weekend with the Corpus Christi IceRays at home over the weekend. The Saturday night loss ended the eight-game winning streak for the Mudbugs. Corpus Christi also ended the eight-game home winning streak for the ‘Bugs.

Week 9 gets us through the second week of the holiday break and just about the end of the tournament season.
