Somnolence Recording Studio Somnolence is an unofficial, high-quality recording studio owned and operated by Blake Hamilton. Any vocal that comes into Somnolence is sure to be pleased.

Somnolence Recording Studio works in collaboration with Warhawk Amplifiers, "To make high quality all-tube guitar amplifiers with exceptional tone and reliability" (http://www.facebook.com/ #!/pages/Warhawk-Amps/218143478282011) The studio, though run in his home, has a surprising amount of quality equipment to capture any sound that's brought in, from the heavy metal and hard rock, to the most ele

gant of acoustic tracks. Basing it's guitar sound on the soon to be added Peavy 6505+112 Combo's direct microphone emulated output, as well as the classic Shure SM57 two mic set up, the guitar tracks come out fat and full, a guitarist's dream. For the bassist, Somnolence uses the (soon to be added) highly respected SansAmp RBI to deliver the true sound of the bass track with amazing clarity. For the heavy metal/ metalcore vocals we all love, the SM57's capture the raw power that is a necessity, but for the soulful melody of a singer, the Audio-Technica AT2020 delivers a rich, precise recording. Somnolence Recording Studio operates independently, but also works in conjunction with the label Life's Design Studios, in which Blake Hamilton is also a co-owner.
