Today in our berry series we are looking at the Blackberry! Blackberries can be paired with so many amazing flavours and have wonderful energetic properties as well including healing, fertility, abundance, wealth, money, protection, prosperity, and health. They are also known as a fruit of the faeries. In Celtic lore it is actually considered bad luck to eat them for this reason unless it's in the form of wine which is pretty convenient lol. Time for a little 🤓 because I got a new book and I have to say it’s been a minute lol. I don't think I have gotten a new book all summer yet. Had to pick up this little gem from The Wedale Bookshop . The Way Through the Woods by the lovely Rebecca Beattie ..
I've only flipped through it so far but it looks absolutely magical and I can't wait to really get into it. And I will be spotlighting some of my favourite books over the next few weeks so stay tuned!..

The Summer Solstice is just around the corner! A time to honour the sun, welcome the summer season, and appreciate, enjoy, and revel in the longest day of the year. A celebration of light, warmth, and abundance, it is a wonderfully uplifting turn of the wheel. I love the positive energy that surrounds this day and am looking forward to taking advantage of it. This year I will be in Toronto for the solstice and am still planning out how to mark the day. ..

Sending out a huge Happy Birthday to my mama who turns 70 today! May this new decade gift her with much magic and new memories.
