Today I lost our Dance Guru Sri . Sahadevan Sir. He was the one who trained Nandu for 12 years and myself for 5 years. Under his guidance we learned that dance is not just a movement but an art learned with discipline, dedication and profound connection with emotion and culture.May his soul rest in peace . Memories came and just thought of sharing these..
2 years ago these months were a tough time for me with so many surgeries n all . But in between that this good thing had happened . I was invited for flowers oru kodi as a participant and indeed that was a turning point for me. Sreekandan Nair Sir is a person whom I have been following from my school days itself. Still remember his Nammal Thammil pgm . And used to watch it only due to his way of presentation.when I was invited for this pgm and that too was just 2 days after a surgery, I was having so many confusions. Will I cry there ?will I be able to talk in front of him ?and also it’s my rest period and how can I stand there for soo long, more over that it’s a quiz pgm and my GK is very poor. But I didn’t want to miss that chance and indeed that was the best decision I made . The flowers team were so cooperative and also Sreekandan Nair Sir made me very comfortable . I was able to talk to him with so much of confidence with out a single drop of tears rolling down my eyes. And that had boosted my confidence and I think I have grown up so far from that Nisha to the current me .All thanks to the team Flowers .
Every day is an experience and I’m learning and unlearning myself from all my life experiences.
