Bolivia😍🇧🇴 I had no idea what to expect when visiting for a few days last year and was completely blown away by the gorgeous landscape, friendly people and endless adventure. The Salt Flats were INCREDIBLE and watching sunrise from them was so beautiful. I can’t wait to go back…

Ps. Last photo is my fav.

Big news: I just bought a one-way ticket to New Zealand!!!🇳🇿

My bf and I are going on a 4-6 month trip. We’ll roughly have 6 weeks in New Zealand, then 6 weeks in Australia, 4 weeks Southeast Asia then we’ll play it by ear but definitely get over to Ireland to visit my bf’s family. I cannot wait for this adventure and I also can’t believe it’s happening🤭

If you have any ideas pleas please please share them below!

It’s a privilege to be able to do something like this🩵 My bf and I will both be working a bit so I’m excited to take travel a little slower and have more flexibility and time.

We also decided to end our lease so we’re moving out of our apartment right before we fly out… so it will be a BUSY few weeks😆😅 Felt like the stars aligned though because wanting to move out came at the perfect time. We will put what we’d spend on rent to our travels.

I shared this on my stories yesterday and SO many of you have sent such sweet messages. I love you guys🥹 I can’t wait to write blogs to help you with trip planning, hopefully some giveaways to aid your trips, and anything else to provide value to you💖

Let the adventure begin…. ⛺️🌲🥾🌸✨

Whistler is a dreamland🩵☁️ I woke up at home in downtown Vancouver at 6am and ended up here a few hours later. How lucky are we😍🏂

Taken on my new camera that fits in my pocket!! It was so fun taking these. Not thinking about much, just snapping what catches my eye.

I never thought I’d EVER be good enough to go heli skiing😭🚁 Views (and powder) like this everywhere you go, all day. This was truly one of the best days outside and guys.. it deserves to be on the bucketlist!!

My level of snowboarding is good. I’d say intermediate with a dash of advanced if conditions are nice and confidence is high😆

So if that sounds like you, I’m here to say that you can go heli-skiing too! I went with —the people who actually started heli-sking. Iconic.

They offer a lot of 7-10 day trips where you stay in a lodge in the mountains (which is unreal) but they are really expensive—understandably so but it’s out of reach for a lot of people.

So I was stoked to find out they do day trips from Golden which runs about $2k a day. The runs are unlimited which means you can get as many heli rides and runs in as they possibly can! 🎿

TIPS on how to hike cold temps.. and still enjoy it🥶⬇️

We all put in so much effort on the trails so there’s nothing worse than getting somewhere and not being able to enjoy it because you’re too cold.

So, I’m here to give you a few tips on how to stay warm and enjoy yourself as the temperatures drop:

1. Layers, layers, layers!! Make sure to wear a merino wool baselayer, which helps wick sweat and trap heat efficiently. Then, layer a fleece and a good down jacket to keep all that *glorious* heat in. You can also wear a rainshell on top if you want to block out any wind.

I wore the Transcendent Down Hoodie in the Canadian Rockies when it got down to -6C and after this trip… I truly LOVE it. Here’s why:

• It is exceptionally warm and is so soft.
• The fit is perfect. As a woman, it’s so nice to wear a slim and well-fitted down jacket.
• It’s made with 100% recycled shell and responsibly sourced 800+ fill power down.
• The left-hand pocket ingeniously doubles as a stuff sack.
• It has a ton of pockets, an adjustable drawcord at the waist, and a cozy hood.

You can shop this jacket via my stories or link in bio🤍

2. Bring a camping stove to make hot drinks and/or food. Nothing like a warm drink when you can’t feel your hands😂

3. Bring hand and/or feet warmers and gloves.

4. If that chill creeps in, do jumping jacks, walk around and move around.

What a privilege it is to sleep in places like this.

To keep these places pristine for many generations to come always follow the Leave No Trace principles—don’t know what that is?! plz google it now☺️. The BIG things to know are:

• Camp on a durable surface (aka gravel/rocks) and previously camped on spot.

• Camp away from water sources. 100-200ft depending on the area you’re recreating in.

• Pack out everything (even your toilet paper).

• Be mindful of your overall impact around you and keep it better than when you found it.

Have fun out there!!🧡🥾

My story (so far)...

My most asked questions are related to how I got to where I am today. I had no intention of going down this path or knew what an ‘influencer’ was growing up—but I’m so grateful I fell into this. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been an outdoor-lover, thanks to my dad. He always took my sisters and I on camping trips and hikes mostly around our home province. After high school, I started hiking and backpacking almost every chance I got with any friends who would go with me. For the next five years, I went to university where I earned a degree in Communications. It took me one year longer than normal because I went on two multi-month backpacking trips with my best friends—one to Europe and the other to South East Asia and New Zealand.

These trips opened my eyes to how much I loved traveling the world, exploring new places, hiking and even the little moments in between. I went to 15 countries before I turned 22 and I didn’t want to ever stop. I ate my way through Italy, sailed across islands in Croatia, soaked up the sun in Greece, learnt about a culture I knew nothing about in Turkey, danced every night in Spain, hiked as much as my legs would take in New Zealand, learnt about the history in Cambodia, rode motorcycles in Vietnam and more. I always had a part-time job while in school so that I could save money to travel. I’ll say now that I was very privileged and was supported by my parents. I didn’t have a massive student loan looming over my head like many friends I knew. The money I made was put right into my ‘travel fund’ and I know that not everyone has the opportunity to do that. After I graduated, my passion for hiking and travel only became stronger. Thankfully I live in beautiful British Columbia where the hiking is never-ending

I worked full-time in a few different roles—at my step dad’s law firm, Red Bull and, most recently, lululemon. During this time, 2015-2018, I slowly gained followers on Instagram. It was the only account I had and it was made to share photos so my friends and family could see what I was up to. It was shocking to see people following me and liking my photos. My account growing was a very gradual process and I never made it a big deal. My audience kept growing and it wasn’t until my older sister sat me down after I came back from New Zealand where she explained to me that I had an opportunity at hand. An opportunity to grow a community online, inspire thousands to get outside and potentially make money doing it. After this conversation, I put much more effort into my Instagram.

That meant producing more content, practicing photography, meeting new people, learning about the business and so much more. Fast forward to 2018 where I was working full-time at lululemon and putting in all the energy I had left into my Instagram. All my time went into these two jobs. Juggling a social life, staying present with my family and going to the gym regularly was a struggle—and to this day, I don’t understand how I did it. At this point, my Instagram was generating the same amount of money, if not more, as my 9-5 job. I didn’t sleep much, I worked weird hours just to put in my full day at lululemon and went on road trips to Washington, Oregon and Alberta (even if I only had a couple days off). By the end of 2018, it was getting to be too much.
