Out of all of our entire content library - 1,966 published videos over 16 years on the RCSparks Studio channel - this is the BEST FILM I have ever had the pleasure of capturing. HERE IT IS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QQZx4OC_YQ What an honor for me. Hi, I’m Maurice’s Dad, and today marks a milestone I’ve dreamed of for over a decade on this YouTube channel. My son at just 11 years old, has built his very own 100% original design, from the ground up - Radio Controlled 4WD truck from scratch using !

This masterpiece required him to make a tough decision: dismantle two of his prized Lego models — his beloved PEUGEOT Car and Giant John Deere Log Skidder. It was no easy task, and yes, there were some tears along the way. But through this challenge, he learned a powerful lesson: sometimes, we need to break down our greatest achievements to create something even more incredible.

He installed four motors of varying sizes, connected them through a radio control system, and spent weeks perfecting every detail. I’ve watched him work on this design for years, ever since his very first Lego set at the age of three. Today, he steps up as a Master Builder. Watching him explain the open differential system, the custom steering, cantilever suspension, and every moving part — from the opening doors, hood, and tailgate, to the massive John Deere tires — I’m simply blown away. He even perfected a working torque winch. Remarkable.

As RCSparks, one of the original RC builders on the internet, I can’t express the pride I feel seeing my son’s talent, creativity, and resilience. It’s a torch I’m proud to pass on, knowing he will carry it forward in his own unique and inspiring way. The future is bright for this young man...

My wife came to me and asked me “can you make the sound of a dinosaur.. “ ?

I looked at her puzzled, and said “not really”..

She said “sure you can! Hi I’m Aaron and you’re watching RC ADVENTURES!”

We both laughed out loud 😝

After much research.. and many many years of waiting, I have just purchased a new set of FPV goggles and I went with the DJI Goggles 3. I know they are currently having connectivity issues for long range flight with the DJI Air O3, but I am using this for close range RC ground based vehicles and experimenting with bringing the FPV ground side of things along faster. I think the technology is there.. just a log of confusion and price points need to be addressed. I am very interested in this area.. and have been for over 12 years.. its just the tech was never ready.. and the issue of WATERPPROOFING, and Stability - with a 3 Axis gimbal.. would be slick.. AND camera should be able to slide out of the drivers window/door.. Ive seen so much possibility for Construction RC, Crawlers and all sorts of grounds based FPV.. yet, things need to be addressed.

It was a big investment, but one that has always stuck in my craw, so-to-speak. Image stability and clarity, while being able to record HD video, AND be able to move the camera.. this is key. Also, angle meters for tipping, and so much more. They should be making "driving controllers" for RC ground.. like they do with flight controllers. Such as built in telemetry for your vehicles.

This is an area of the market that is far gone unexplored because of limitations.. and Im going to give it a go, and see if I can make it easier to understand.. through understanding more myself

I’m always on the lookout for new ways to push the boundaries of my skills and improve my driving experience. (Today's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFlP4GVj4YM) While some of my gear might be considered 'vintage' or even 'antique' by today's standards, I’m still getting tons of value from it. In fact, I’m more excited than ever to step up my FPV (First Person View) game for ground-based vehicles. It’s surprising to me that more companies haven’t explored ground-based FPV—there’s so much potential to fine-tune and innovate here. One idea I’m toying with is integrating a digital angle meter to monitor tipping points in real-time. But today, I’m diving into something I’ve dreamed about for years—finally turning it into reality.

- Preface:

The RCSparks Studio channel, run by Aaron (known as rcsparks on YouTube), is famous for showcasing unique and high-quality radio-controlled (RC) vehicles. One of the standout vehicles in his collection is the CAPO JK MAX, which is known for being a highly detailed, high-end, scale RC model.

The CAPO JK MAX is an off-road RC vehicle modeled after the Jeep JK Wrangler. It features remarkable realism, intricate craftsmanship, and precision engineering, making it popular among RC enthusiasts. Some notable aspects include:

High Scale Detail: The CAPO JK MAX is renowned for its true-to-life design, including detailed body panels, working doors, interior features, and even mechanical components that resemble the real vehicle.

All-Metal Construction: Unlike many RC cars made with plastic parts, the JK MAX is constructed mostly of metal, contributing to its durability and the feeling of authenticity. This also gives it extra weight, improving performance on rugged terrain.

Suspension and Drivetrain: The vehicle is equipped with an advanced suspension system and drivetrain that mimic real off-road vehicles. The independent suspension, metal axles, and drivetrain help the JK MAX perform well on challenging terrains.

Performance: The CAPO JK MAX is not just for show—its powerful motor and 4WD system allow it to climb rocks, tackle mud, and handle off-road conditions with ease.

Customizable: One of the things Aaron loves about RC vehicles like the JK MAX is their potential for customization. Whether it’s upgrading parts or adding personalized details, the CAPO JK MAX provides a great platform for modifications and enhancements.

On RCSparks Studio, Aaron has featured the CAPO JK MAX in action, tackling various terrains and showing off its mechanical features, which captivate his viewers with both the model’s capabilities and its stunning realism.

If you’re into high-end RC builds and customization, Aaron’s videos on the CAPO JK MAX offer great insights into what’s possible with such an advanced RC vehicle.

I recently noticed a large slab of concrete that needed to be removed from the side of our home. Rather than hiring a professional, I decided to tackle the job myself using the mini-breaker/hammer attachment on my excavator. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to get some hands-on experience with the equipment.

Since I don't have much experience operating heavy machinery through First Person View (FPV) goggles, it took me a while to get the hang of it. Maneuvering the excavator to the work site was the first challenge, especially while adjusting to the FPV perspective. Tracking it through our property wasn't as straightforward as I had hoped.

Once I finally arrived at the concrete slab, piloting the machine became even more challenging. Controlling the breaker with precision required a lot of focus and patience. There were moments when I wondered if I had bitten off more than I could chew.

Despite the steep learning curve, I managed to make some progress. The experience was both frustrating and exhilarating. I captured the whole process on film, and I think you'll find the results entertaining. From the initial hiccups to the eventual breakthroughs, it's been quite an adventure. I hope you enjoy watching my attempts at DIY concrete removal!

Presenting my LESU 1/14 RC Metal Hydraulic Aoue ET30H Wheeled Excavator, a project that's been a true labor of love. Can't wait to see how it performs! https://youtu.be/xcVizpgdCk8

Three years after I embarked on this ambitious project, I am thrilled to announce that it's 'almost' complete—hah! Today marks a significant milestone, as I get to test this model for full functionality. I'm excited to report that all the hydraulics and electronics are working flawlessly, just as I had hoped.

So, why did this build take so long? Well, there were moments of pure frustration where progress felt impossible, and I found myself needing to take extended breaks just to clear my head and regain my enthusiasm. It wasn't an easy road, but every hurdle taught me something new about patience, perseverance, and the art of creative problem-solving.

Now, about the color scheme—an easy choice for me! I was so tired of seeing the same old, dull colors that are so typical of excavators. I wanted something bold, something that would make this model stand out from all the rest. I’ve built quite a few excavators over the years, like the Kobelco Blue, which was a favorite at one point. But this time, I wanted a design that screamed energy and uniqueness, so I went with a striking combination of neon green, bright safety orange, and black. These colors don’t just look great—they also ensure maximum visibility and safety, a nod to real-world construction standards.

In this short film ( https://youtu.be/UiPYUfCqh_U ) you will witness a middle-aged man living out a lifelong dream of using his imagination and turning his backyard into a playground for some truly incredible heavy-duty radio-controlled (RC) equipment to be used. That man is me. It’s taken years of dedication to reach this level in my hobby, and there’s nothing more rewarding than sharing these moments with others who appreciate the art of RC. As a kid, I would spend hours in the sandbox with my Tonka trucks, dreaming of the day they’d come to life. Now, thanks to advances in technology, that dream is my reality, and every day brings a new adventure.

Yes, these machines are electric, powered by lithium polymer. They have engine sound simulators, and they are very rare. What you are seeing today, is all metal, and real working hydraulic pumps, with oil rams. Truly remarkable.

Today, you’ll get a glimpse of some of my favorite machines in action. I’m operating a modified 80-pound Kabolite SME K970 excavator, equipped with a hydraulic rotating grappling claw, alongside a handcrafted Pan truck (land scraper) and an 8x8 Rollback CRANE & Dump Truck with a specialized Vacuum/PUMP attachment for wetting down the temporary road I’m working on. My task: move the logs, bring in the equipment, and prepare the site to scrape the road.

The satisfaction of seeing these machines in motion, doing the work they were built for, is beyond words. I’m no master, just a passionate enthusiast always eager to learn more, and I hope this demonstration inspires others to pursue their own passions with the same fervor.

Based on the Ural cab design, this formidable Radio Controlled truck features a robust, lifted chassis with portal axles and wide tires, making it a high-bellied beast perfect for ripping through my backyard creek. Inspired by the legendary Mercedes Unimog and its impressive capabilities despite its height, I set out to create an equally powerful machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slcHZcA9Zy8 Utilizing a solid truck I built several years ago as the foundation, I integrated everything needed to enhance its performance.

This RC marvel is powered by a potent 550-sized 3300kv brushless motor and equipped with an electronic speed controller. It's also fully waterproof, boasts an engine sound simulator for added realism, and features dual winches at the front and rear for tackling tough obstacles. Watch as I navigate through challenging terrains, showcasing the capabilities of this incredible truck. I hope this video inspires you to dive into the thrilling world of RC. Enjoy!

Hello everyone,

Someone close to my heart, a young man of 15.. has been a brave warrior battling Crohn's disease since he was a little little man. He has been one of the strongest examples of tenacity.. and endurance.. has Authored a book with the help of his family, while he has lived in and out of the hospital. Yesterday, he went back in for another transfusion.. and was feeling understandably down.. so I surprised him with a reading of his book, with our tribe of goats. I would ask you to pass this along to anyone you know .. who suffers with this terrible disease, and could use some giggles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYAP-VVyLZs

Welcome to our special video reading of "Not Your Average Slice of Pizza," a heartfelt book written by Mason Harvey, and his Mom Michelle. Today, I’m sharing this touching story alongside my adorable Nigerian dwarf goats, who love spending time with me.. and have never heard this inspiring story.

About Crohn’s Disease:
Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract. It can affect any part of the GI tract from the mouth to the a**s, but most commonly impacts the end of the small bowel and the beginning of the colon. This disease can cause a range of symptoms including severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. The severity and frequency of these symptoms can vary, making daily life challenging, especially for young people.

Impact on Young People:
For young individuals, like Mason, living with Crohn's disease can be incredibly difficult. The physical symptoms can lead to missed school, limited participation in activities, and a feeling of being different from peers. The emotional and social impacts can be just as significant, often leading to feelings of isolation and frustration.

Mason Harvey's Heroic Journey:
Despite these challenges, Mason Harvey chose to channel his experiences into something positive and impactful. At just 15 years old, he authored "Not Your Average Slice of Pizza" to help other children facing similar battles. Mason's story features a little slice of pizza navigating life with Crohn's, offering a relatable and comforting message to young readers. His goal is to let other kids know they are not alone and that it’s okay to talk about their struggles.

Mason's courage and creativity in writing this book are truly heroic. By sharing his journey and raising awareness, he is making a significant difference in the lives of other children and their families. His book is a testament to his resilience and compassion, providing both education and inspiration to all who read it.

Join us in celebrating Mason's incredible contribution and learn more about Crohn's disease through this touching story. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share this video to spread Mason’s message of hope and unity.

Personal Letter to Mason from RCSparks / Bidaller Farms:

Hey buddy!! AMAZING and Stupendous job on this wonderful life journey book "Not Your Average Slice of Pizza"! Your efforts in making this book is beyond heroic, and your foundation of love for others is so apparent and heartwarming. I too suffer with this terrible disease, and I wanted to make this video, and offer to share on this channel (not a monetized video of course), but as a special thank you and reward for your hard fought battles and courage you have shown. I know its not much, but I wanted to open and read this with my Goats.. and maybe bring you a smile after having to go back into the transfusion center. Thinking of you!

Hey everyone, as mentioned in a previous post.. I have started to sell some of my collection. Now is your chance to own one of my personal RC's that I have used on my show, or built for my own pleasure, if you are interested.

I have placed 5 items up on Auction at ebay so everyone has a chance to participate .. I started all of my auctions at $36.00 USD ($50 CAD) and only made them 5 day auctions. All of these models have been packaged already - and only 3 are shown below in the image. Search "RCSparks" on ebay, and you should find my listings. I will be posting more at the end of these sales.

Enjoy everyone.. I've listed some really good items, and a very good starter price. The market can dictate how much they are worth.

Thanks!

Aaron / RCSparks
