As a #40Under40 influencer we talk to students, sharing with them some of the learnings we have discovered along the path to success, in fields they may not have thought of before or might have otherwise, not been able to access.
We are examples of what’s possible.… and to that end, I often feel inadequate.
I’m still deciphering so much; how can I tell them what I still don’t know?
Truth is that I can’t.
So to the students at Tranquility included in this clip, the ones I met Friday last in Point Fortin, all students and most of all to myself I can only share an honest reminder ;
Success is a process.
It will change and so will you.

I love what I do and I’m good at it too but I often become hyper critical of myself (leading to a less than stellar delivery) in the presence of Mr. Stuart Young.
Why?
Because he’s one of the public speakers I find most impacting. His delivery is most times impeccable: perfectly paced, sufficient projection, excellent diction, thorough subject matter knowledge… essential everything I strive to consistently deliver.
So here’s to the next time we cross paths Mr Young…. positively speaking: May we both make great, positive impact.
