Happy thanksgiving 2025 everyone. Hope you all have a very fun filled one. As I said in my afternoon stream yesterday. There will not be a stream today as I will be spending some long overdue time with the fam. I also will not be streaming tomorrow and the weekends I am off but hopefully I will be back on Monday for the afternoon retro lunch hour stream. I will also be switching between Facebook and Twitch. I'm thinking of streaming on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays on Facebook then Tuesdays and Thursdays over on Twitch. I'm still brainstorming on how to do that but do make sure you are following over there and also over on tik tok

So for those that were not in my earlier stream this afternoon when I was talking about it let me fill you in. Yesterday at my local Walmart I had the opportunity to hold the Nintendo switch 2 Joy cons (attached together obviously) as well as the Nintendo switch 2 pro controller. While I was there I also had the chance to play a 20 minute demo of Metroid 4 Beyond for the Nintendo switch 2. Here are my thoughts: I played using the joycons and I have to say I didn't like how they felt. They just felt way too big for me I'd much rather play with the pro controller instead it just felt a lot better. Now as for the game itself, for me personally the new mechanics are going to take a little getting used to but because I played the original Metroid Prime (GameCube) as well as the remaster I am confident I can adapt to it. The game overall ran really smooth and I hope that the Nintendo switch one version will run just as smoothly, I mean it was originally designed for the original switch so we'll have to see on December 4th. Now I will be getting Metroid 4 beyond on the original Nintendo switch. Unfortunately I did not get enough in donations to be able to afford the new one so I'm going to have to wait just a little bit longer before I can get it. I will also be doing an unboxing on launch day as well as gameplay. I'm not sure yet if the gameplay will be in handheld mode or docked mode you'll just have to wait and see.

What's good couch crew as well as any potential viewers and followers? Who's ready for the retro lunch hour? I know I am and with that being said switch online has gotten some new games. The first to start is this awesome game that is pictured which is one of my favorites so hope to see you guys in a little bit.
