🍯 **Our Kind of Night** 🌄

Last night was nothing fancy—just one of those, "Hey babe, let’s step outside" moments. We didn’t have to go far—just grabbed a bottle of Mead, hopped in Dan’s truck, and watched the sunset right from our favorite spot.

No plans, no distractions—just us surrounded by beauty.

Quite possibly the best trip this year was our time is San Jose del Cabo! It was beautiful, the waves were huge and so much fun (had to sign a waiver to swim), locals were very friendly, the resort was gorgeous...kids are learning Spanish (always a plus to international travel)...

We experienced Tropical Storm Ileana, and a 4.3 earthquake!!

We just had so much fun. And these photos are just a sampling of the thousands we took!!

🌊🌴 Greetings from Cabo! 🌴🌊

What a wild few days here in Cabo! The waves and currents here at our resort are so amazingly and beautifully intense that they discourage swimming and we have to sign a waiver every time we get in the water! 🌊 You know us, though, we can't resist!! 😎 It's seriously one of the most fun beaches we've ever been to!

Then, Tropical Storm Ileana hit on Friday with tons of rain, flooding low-lying areas (and just a tiny bit at our resort). 🌧️ And as if that wasn’t enough, we felt a 4.3 earthquake today! Californians might laugh, but for us, it was definitely a memorable moment. 🤩 Not totally unscary either. Haha

All’s amazing here, everyone is so nice, the ocean is a blast and the adventure continues!

Highly recommend that everyone with High School (and beyond) aged kids make "The Gulag Archipelago" mandatory reading for their kids. Public school kids won't see this on their syllabus, guaranteed!

After my younger crew and I finish the "Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" we may very well take an abrupt turn and read "some" (abridged for maturity, or lack there of) Soltzhenitsyn.

Such an important work of art!

There's something magical about the way kids see the world. 🌍 Everything is magical, from a puddle on the street to garbage trucks. 🥰

Their curious eyes light up with wonder, and their laughter is pure and contagious.

This little guy loves his doggies and trucks. We went outside and he said "wow" over and over and over. The wonderment...man, it just fills me with love and joy.

It's a beautiful reminder to slow down and embrace the simple joys that life has to offer. 🌟 "

🌴 Just got back from paradise—Kauai was everything we dreamed of and more! From the adventure of surfing some epic waves to sunset strolls along the rocky shore we soaked up every moment together.

There's something magical about being in such a beautiful place with the person you love most. Every adventure, every laugh, every quiet moment felt like a gift. Feeling so grateful for this time together and the love we share. 🌺💑

Not the greatest quality video, but it's the excitement, the sense of accomplishment that I accidentally captured that I want to share.

The water is super high, the feature is insanely intimidating and this lil grom didn't think twice. She has NO fear, of anything (except thunderstorms, haha).

As parents, we often find ourselves wanting to guide and push our kids toward success. But there’s something truly magical about kicking back and watching them achieve things on their own, without any outside pressure. When kids accomplish goals through their own initiative, the impact on their self-esteem is incredible. They gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of ownership over their achievements.

Stay safe and cool out there friends!! And I hope to SYOTR!!

We did it again!!

Two mini labradoodle puppies available July 1. Full growth expected to be about 30 lbs. They are the cutest puppies in the world. Sweet, playful, cuddly and full of desire to please.

Fully socialized with kids, goats, chickens, horses, cats, dogs and even the UPS guy!!

One girl, one boy looking for their forever homes!! PM me for info!!

I have been so eager to post and share this great news!!

💕Sweet baby Josephine Maria Kellogg is here!!!

We joyfully welcome our precious granddaughter into the world, a testament to God's wondrous creation and infinite love.

Her amazing parents, Dally & Savannah, through their unwavering faith and love, have brought this beautiful blessing into our lives.

As we celebrate her birth, we pray for her to grow in this same faith, love, and grace, always guided by the light of Christ.

Thanks be to God!

We went to Maui for our Anniversary!

It was pretty monumental bc for the whole of our marriage we have said, "for xx anniversary, we are going to Hawaii."

We made it on our 31st!! What a ride we have had, it feels as though we have lived several lives together.

These years have been filled with more than I ever could have imagined, more than I could ever have dared to pray for. We are so blessed with 12 amazing kids, who have grown (and are still growing) into young adults I'm in awe of.

Five of these great "kids" have married incredibly special people, (thanks be to God) and have blessed us even further with 7 precious grandchildren, 3 of whom are due in the next 4 months!

In fact, Dally Kellogg & Savannah Kelley Kellogg are expecting their first baby any day now!! ❤️ Prayers are appreciated for all expectant couples!!

But today, I just wanted to check in, while my grandson is napping, and say Hi, share some photos and cherish y'all's presence!

Hey world!! We need a new dishwasher. Preferably I'd like one that doesn't require me to wash the dishes prior to putting them in the "dishwasher".

Stormy day school in our own little schoolhouse!!

Yesterday was fireman school as we burned the brush away from the creek and fields.

Tomorrow…mechanic school as we break out the dirt bikes and get them ready for a ride! 😂😎
