Abid Hameed Khan Meo ( Damroot ) (Chairman PMI) Politician I am Meo Demraut Chairman of Pakistan Meo Ittihad (Abid Hameed Khan Meo) was born in 1976 a village named Khushhal Garh in Narowal.

He was educated up to Primary in a small school in his village and then did his matriculation from a High School in Zafarwal. After that he completed his graduation in Rawalpindi in Journalism. He also did Diploma in the Course of Field Assistance from Agricultural Institute of Rawalpindi. His father was a retired Middle School teacher and he found very educational enviournment in his home. After

his education in Pakistan he went to Cyprus in did Hotel Management Diploma there. He went to Germany and spent 12 years of his life in Hamburg. By then he started taking interest in politics. His mother told him once on phone about a man in Pakistan named Ch Mohammad Ajmal Khan Meo who made a political party (Pakistan Meo Ittihad) and a big procession was going to be held in Lahore (Minar e Pakistan). He was pleased to know that and made contact with Ch Mohammad Ajmal Meo and congratulated him. He also promised full support to new party in his homeland. Chairman party started giving importance to Abid Hameed Khan Meo and was considered as a special member of party. They used to talk every week and Ch Mohammad Ajmal Khan Meo often published his name as an active member of the party in Al-Meoat Times newspaper. During six years (2000-2006) party become highly successful and renowned. Some corrupt Rivals were jealous of this fame. Ch Mohammad Ajmal Khan Meo was threatened many times to be killed. Then in last week on January 2006 when he was working out in a park in Karachi, some political culprits of rival party stabbed him with knife and he was killed brutally. Police was informed but they did not cooperated to full extent. After little investigation the case seemed forgotten. A little effort was made to arrest killers. After his death PMI needed a brave and courageous leader. Some people emerged to be leaders but they were not pure and were rejected by youth of PMI. Finally all party accepted Abid Hameed Khan Meo as leader of Pakistan Meo Ittihad. Abid Hameed Khan Meo registered the party in Election Commission House in Islamabad. More Meo people became party members. PMI members did a press conference in Lahore Press Club and it was revealed to whole nation that party is not leader less. It was a first major Conference. After that Abid Hameed Khan Meo was interviewed on PTV and Rdio many times. No one could imagine that much success. Abid Hameed Khan Meo enticed every member of the party to struggle after the Great founder’s death. Now every member of PMI is preparing for Local and National Elections. Now any injustice whether against Meo party member or any civilian is immediately responded by Abid Hameed Khan Meo. A few days back twin brothers Asif Meo and Riaz Meo who were active members of party were killed. When Chairman PMI, Abid Hameed Khan Meo came to know that he requested Chief Minister Punjab Shabaz Shareef to order police to arrest the killers and released a press conference in this regard. He is also being life threatened for which he demanded security from Shahbaz Shareef and Rehman Malik. Chairman PMI, Abid Hameed Khan Meo respects humanity very much and wants peace in country. He thinks that all Political parties should be on one platform in making peace. Chairman PMI, Abid Hameed Khan Meo has lived many years in Germany and knows about respect and justice in humanity no matter of what religion or colour they are.
