That’s because a mentor is like a trusted advisor—someone you call when you’re stuck or about to make a big decision, like an investment, and need a second opinion. Selfcare as a Freelancer
I never thought one could be hospitalized because of fatigue. Even worse, kidney stones. All these were due to a poor selfcare routine.
At the time, I was desperate, I said yes to all clients regardless of the budget.
After that, I had to make a hard choice and came up with a rate card that allowed me to focus on projects that paid well and allowed me to follow my selfcare routines.
It’s hard to do that, there are times I regretted loosing some clients.
