"Diana The Voice of Change" with Stewart Pearce

Stewart Pearce has long been one of the world’s most esteemed “masters of voice”. He helped to coach actors such as Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance, Matthew Goode, Hugh Bonneville, Simon Callow CBE, Julian Glover, Vanessa Redgrave, Michelle Williams, Minnie Driver, Emilia Clarke, as well as politicians such as Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto and other luminaries. However his biggest career challenge was Princess Diana.

Hounded by a relentless press, indifferent family and a coterie of supporters who leaked the most intimate details of her life, Princess Diana struggled to find her authentic self. What no one knew at that time was that Diana was seeing a private voice and presence coach, during the two years before her death. Stewart Pearce secretly helped her find her authentic voice and taught her how to share her messages of hope, empowerment, kindness, and authenticity with the world.

IN A HEARTBEAT-The Miracle of a Family that was Meant to Be

Mikki writes and speaks about educational marketing presentations for clients, hosts seminars for real estate professionals and most recently her new book IN A HEARTBEAT--The Miracle of a Family that was Meant to Be. The book is based on a true story about the loving choice of adoption and how it doesn't take biology to create a family, and the law of attraction.

Books:
IN A HEARTBEAT-The Miracle of a Family that was Meant to Be

In A Heartbeat: The Miracle of a Family that was Meant to be is a delightful true story spanning several generations of families being born out of love, not necessarily biology. The heart of the story is about how the Law of Attraction brought about an adoption that created the "miracle of a family that was meant to be."

This inspiring book shares a 'good news' adoption story to help others realize what a loving choice it can be for the baby, birth parents and adoptive parents. It is the greatest gift of love a parent can give their child and the most awesome gift another parent can receive.

"Heartbeat is the perfect recipe for achieving goals in life, with a dash of humor, inspiration and tenacity, simmering with positive thinking and the law of attraction. It's the meal for those savoring love and happiness in all areas of life." -Tony Robbins

Water Security: The importance of water in local government

In a recent survey by the Mail and Guardian, the three biggest issues identified by voters, that influence elections are:

* Water Supply
* Water Cuts
* Water availability

In addition to these, the issues relating to sanitation, poor infrastructure maintenance, poor governance and corruption also highlight the problems faced by residents relating to water.

As the ultimate economic enabler, water security both in terms of quantity and quality forms the foundation for economic growth and addressing the issues of poverty, inequality and by extension the absence of water security exacerbates poverty and inequality and largely perpetuates the legacy of Apartheid spatial planning.

In terms of the current legislative framework, local government is a key player in the provision of water and sanitation and therefore it is important to understand the role of local government in the provision of water and sanitation services to communities and what voters should be expecting from their elected officials.
