The former educator, Cortez mayor and state president of the Colorado League of Women Voters will discuss the showing of the film "Undivide Us", at libraries in Cortez, Mancos and Dolores (along with various other locations) on Tuesday evening. The film counters the notion that "We the People" are too polarized to get along and have civilized discussions about important issues. The Cortez Celtic Fair will host a Highland Games competition, Highland Dance competition, Celtic bands, Clan tents, an animal exhibit, and kids activities. The event is free to the public. Beer proceeds are donated to local charities.
