The article is worth a read. Some highlights:
*CM Punk says he apologized to Tony Khan for the scrum when they sat down together
*Punk says he's tried reaching out to The Elite and received notice from lawyers, "Do not contact this person."
*Punk felt like he had a good relationship with The Elite until about a year ago. Checked on spots with Omega and checking in on Hangman when he had COVID
*Hangman and Punk discussed a promo before going to the ring. The "worker's rights" line and follow-up were not discussed prior
*Put on a bad match with Hangman thinking he might try to cheap shot
*Punk says nothing's been done to course-correct after the Hangman issues
*Punk reiterated a willingness to sit down with everyone and iron out issues, but it hasn't happened. Claims it's not for lack of trying on his part.

Unless something got nixed from this story, there's absolutely nothing incendiary. The "reports" that circulated yesterday appeared to be another attempt to stir up outrage.

CM Punk, who makes his return to the promotion after 10 months off, has plenty to say about his peers and a new night on TV for wrestling.

Put on your booker hat. How do you book The Bloodline this weekend?

I’d have The Usos retain and Roman drop the belt to Cody. During Roman’s match, The Bloodline comes out, but when given the opportunity, doesn’t help Roman cheat. The final shots of Mania are Cody celebrating, the Usos and Solo walking up the aisle, Roman looking at Heyman, and the wise man turning away to join the others. Roman is left all alone, setting up the Raw after Mania. -Russ
