The LeRoy Farmer City Press was created in late 2010 after the LeRoy Journal and Farmer City Journal stopped publication. It started as the LeRoy Press to serve the LeRoy and Tri-Valley School District communities and expanded into the Farmer City community months later to serve readers in the Blue Ridge School District. It is owned and published by the News-Gazette, Inc., based in Champa
ign and operated by the News-Gazette Community Newspapers division. The LFC Press is one of eight weekly community publications that also include the Piatt County Journal-Republican in Monticello, the Mahomet Citizen in Mahomet, Paxton Record in Paxton, Rantoul Press in Rantoul, Independent News in Danville/Vermilion County, The Leader in St. Joseph and The County Star in Savoy/Tolono area. It is published every Friday with distribution beginning in newsstands and racks Thursday afternoon. Postal Service, with delivery directly to the LeRoy Post Office. Once a month, pending advertising, the publication provides a total market coverage publication that provides over 5,400 circulation to homes and businesses in LeRoy, Downs, Farmer City, Mansfield and Bellflower. Publication editor is Jerry Nowicki, a LeRoy resident, and advertising sales are handled through Jenny Delaney, a Farmer City resident. Annual subscription prices:
