We are frequently asked if the Imagination Library books are available in Spanish. About 12 of the books have text in Spanish and English.

But, parents don’t have to speak English or read well to inspire a love of reading in their children!
In fact, it’s better for parents to use their native language and have fun sharing the books by making up a story about the pictures. Then, when other family or friends read the same book in English, the children begin to learn two languages.

The Verde Valley Imagination Library is the local nonprofit partner of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. We mail a free hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered Verde Valley children from birth until their fifth birthday. OVER 1950 VERDE VALLEY KIDS ARE NOW PARTICIPATING !

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a 60 volume set of children's books selected each year by a Blue Ribbon Selection Committee. They are published by Penquin Random house, labeled with the child's name and mailed directly to the child's home. The books include title specific reading tips for parents to inspire and engage their children in the stories.
