Looking for unusual faces (the more wrinkles, the better). Expressive eyes. Musical, poetic voice. Physically skinny.

The Poet is a very old man—frail and thin. He is a lone wanderer, overcome with deep sadness over the state of the world. At times, however, he is also full of life and energy. Playful, especially when he plays music.

--> Irish or other UK accents a plus.
--> Theatre training/Shakespeare experience a plus
--> Scouting worldwide.

Think Alec Guinness' Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Ian Mckellen's Gandalf.

Candidate does not need to be a professional actor, but know this is a meaty role.

While Alisa is still being considered, we'd like to cast a wide net to see who else is out there.

Age: 7-12
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Caucasian (Scandinavian/Nordic appearance)
Film title: KIN Fables - The Stolen Child

-> This character is based on old fairytales and North-European folklore. Looking for ethereal, faerie-like looks. A child with expressive eyes, who looks wise beyond her years. "Old soul".
-> Preference for blue or green eyes. Wearing contacts an option for brown eyes.
-> Blonde, or willing to dye completely blonde. No wigs for this character.
-> Petite frame. Delicate. Elfin.
-> Interested in unusual faces. Not necessarily looking for typical pretty/cute.

-> Non-speaking role.
-> Scouting worldwide. Does not need to speak English fluently, but must be able to understand it without relying too heavily on an interpreter.
-> Dance experience a big bonus.
-> Union and non-union submissions are welcome

Netflix has come to Quebec, looking for projects to take under their wing, and we have successfully submitted our treatment of The Stolen Child movie for their consideration. This could be huge, and potentially finance the entire film so that we can finally get it made.
