Hello friends and family! Thank you for your love, prayers and support.
Our family made it to Moshi, Tanzania on Thursday! We have now settled into our new time zone. We have also made some good friends and have seen much of our neighborhood, downtown and the market.

Yesterday we visited an older woman in a very poor part of the area. We were honored to pray with her. She had once been one of the biggest drug dealers here but God shook her through a healing she witnessed years ago. She was radically saved and has ministered to and brought in many children and young people through her door over the years.

Today, we visited our missionary friend's home church. The experience was so beautiful and overwhelming that I cried and cried throughout the praise and worship time. The happiness and joy on my family's faces was so precious to me. Liam has been enjoying the food here! He says he already loves the community and people here.

Judah was moved by the worship service today. The excitement, unity and engagement of the people during service was powerful and made each of us emotional.

We are all falling in love with the connection and community that is a part of the people here.

This week we will have more opportunities to minister to the local tribes. We will be tent camping and ministering three days with a Masaai tribe.

Please pray for our family! We know the enemy is unhappy that we are here as we have been working through many obstacles. Both personally for our family members and also in getting trip details to fall into place. One of those details being that our trip is not fully funded yet. We still need $9500 and are believing that God will supply our needs. He said go! So we're here and trusting Him to direct us in each step we take.

This broke me today. The heart of this father is a beautiful thing. This is the side of men that the world doesn't want to recognize. The side of us that loves powerfully, and is broken when we aren't able to protect those we love.

When did it become ok to devalue a life. When did people get so evil that they will have a baby ripped apart for their convenience? The baby feels every bit of that until it dies.

If you are reading this and have had an abortion, I understand that this may hurt your feelings. What you did was wrong. It can't be changed though. There is forgiveness through a loving God whose heart is broken not only for the baby, but for your heart also.

There has been so much about Beyonce's new album, I felt that I would add my two cents. This is my opinion as both an audio engineer and as someone who grew up in a house listening to real country music. I really think that my takeaway from all of this is that as creatives, we need to be absolutely genuine. It doesn't mean that we can experiment, but we need to call it what it is...

If it were a good album, it would be different. I listened to the whole thing. It was grueling! One of the worst albums I have listened to. It is definitely not country by any stretch of the imagination. There are one or two songs that kind of fit Americana, but still not done well. As an audio engineer and musician, I find the album a slap in the face to authentic country. It is overly generic, yet tries so hard to hit stereotypical elements of country that it's not genuine in any way.

Had it been presented as an experimental album, it could get a little more leeway, but it is still a terribly written and produced album. This should win nothing but a participation trophy.
