COLLECTIONS OFFICER (2x)

Reporting to the Manager Collections and Assets Recoveries, the Collections Officer is responsible for monitoring of delinquent loans and credit cards accounts, establishing and maintaining customer contacts for loans and credit cards in arrears, attend to customer issues relating to delinquent loans, liaising with lending support and other business units within the Bank to rectify any system issues relating to delinquent loans. Work with Manager Asset Recoveries to ensure rates & write-offs are minimized and within budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The core functions of the position are as follows but not limited to:

• Monitor all delinquent loan and credit card accounts and follow up on arrears by telephone, e-mail and any other form of communication.

• Ensure customer delinquent arrears letters are reviewed and issued/posted in a timely manner.

• Record and register customer/bank communication on data base information storing system.

• Conduct weekly review of unsecured personal loans and credit cards in arrears past 90 days and make appropriate recommendation to Manager Asset Recoveries for write off/recovery/restructure consideration.

• Attend to customer enquiries direct from customers and or referred by other business units within the bank.

• Ensure all accounts written off are loaded on CDB, attend to customer CDB amendments and follow up on written off accounts for recovery/collections purpose.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum qualification of Grade 12 education and the completion of business related studies would be highly desirable.
• Minimum of (2) years’ experience in general banking/credit/ collections type role
• Proficient skills in Outlook, MS Word & Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable with high sense of commitment and responsibility.

HID6447 – TRUCK DRIVER

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Truck Driver for our Commercial – HV Logistics Department.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating Semi Trailer Trucks and providing es**rt support. This includes moving open deck loads, containers, dangerous goods within the Mine site roads and from time to time along Site Access Road between Bulolo and Hidden Valley Mine.

Key roles and responsibilities include:
 Adhere to safe work practices including policies and procedures
 Safety-first mindset
 Es**rt trucks around site as required
 Operate sidelifter for moving ISOtainers
 Operate confidently & correctly on steep roads
 Operate within specified gears and speed limits
 Follow and correctly apply emergency brake procedures
 Adhere to Site traffic rules
 Correctly restrain loads
 Manage fatigue

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
 Minimum of 2 years Mine Site Semi Trailer Driving – highly desirable
 Prior mining experience – highly desirable
 Experience driving automatic 6x6 trucks
 Side lifter trailer operation - desirable
 Capable of speaking, reading and writing in English language
 Must have 5 years’ Experience Operating on Highways
 Must have class 4 & 6 current PNG Driver’s license
 Must have experience driving on steep roads
 Strong focus towards safety

The above role is Hidden Valley mine site based
