There has already been a fair number of jobs lost to self-service over recent decades. In the coming decade we might see radically larger numbers of jobs lost to self-service, thanks to advances in machine learning and other technologies.
In supermarkets, the shift from checkout operators to self-service will be soon be followed by eliminating the checkout system — and attendants — entirely.

Glenn has had enough. Do politicians on the left stand for ANYTHING that they preach? Because one month ago they were locking people inside their homes, ARRESTING business owners, and destroying our economy. They said it was necessary. They said millions of Americans would die from COVID-19 if we didn't step in line, close our doors, and let our neighbor's livelihoods be destroyed. But now, those very same leaders are out in the streets, surrounded by MASSES of people, marching in the Floyd protests san-mask. What happened to COVID-19? Social distancing? They called the Tea Party protests violent. But now, according to CNN, violence should be EXPECTED when fighting injustices. And while riots destroy our cities and our nation burns, sharing our thoughts on the electronic "public square" only brings even stronger efforts to edit unpopular opinions out of existence.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, it may be prudent for some people in 'at risk categories' not to go to Mass for a couple of weeks.

There is no Mass obligation for those who are ill or in danger of becoming ill. But closing churches and stopping all Masses at a time like this is an outrage.

So, why are so many 'progressive’ shepherds, who said they were going to make the Church into a “field hospital”, suddenly locking their churches and heading for cover during the flock’s moment of most desperate spiritual need?

What happened to the Church of Accompaniment? Church of Abandonment is more like it.

Here's one diocesan priests who has had enough! His church is not going to be locked, Mass is not going to be cancelled and communion will be administered on the tongue.

Rather than ordering the faithful to stay away from church, Father organized a special Rosary procession for those wishing to publicly turn to Our Lord and His Most Blessed Mother during this moment of crisis.

Sky News host Paul Murray says the Vatican has joined the World Health Organisation in “kowtowing” to the whims of the Chinese Communist party.

The Australian reported the Vatican has lauded China but snubbed Taiwan despite both nations sending aid to Italy in mid-March.

Mr Murray said the Vatican made no public response to Taiwanese coronavirus efforts “because to recognise Taiwan as anything but China’s property would upset China.

The Vatican’s support of China is “a disgrace,” he said.
