SILENT WINTER was initially formed in the middle of 90's in the city of Volos in central
Greece. Back then, the band recorded and released two demo tapes entitled "Silent
Winter" and "War of an Angel” and also played some gigs and appeared on local festivals.
In 2018 the group was reformed with new members and released an EP with 5 songs. One of the featured tracks is a new version of the old demo song “Far Away” which also was released as their first video clip under the production of Progressive Vision Group (Bob Katsionis). This EP received positive feedback and reviews throughout the world. Kiriakos Balanos (guitars) and Giorgos Loukakis (bass) are the original members from 1995’s line-up. For the EP, they were joined by Giannis Antonopoulos (drums), the well-known Mike Livas on vocals (Maidenance, Keepers Of Jericho, Timo Tolkki tour singer), Vaggelis Papadimitriou on guitar and Yiannis Manopoulos (Thelemite) on keyboards.

In May 2019 SILENT WINTER released their first album 'The Circles of Hell' via Greek label Sonic Age Records. The reviews coming in from all over the world again were excellent and “The Circles of Hell” appeared in many ‘best of listings’ of that year. Several 3d lyric videos were released in collaboration with Harry Kountouris who is also now responsible for all the live visuals of Sabaton, as well as for some 3D lyric videos for Rotting Christ. SILENT WINTER played lived with Skyclad in Larissa, and with Acid Death and Nightrage at the Golden R festival in Volos, and a release show together with Floating Worlds in Athens’ Remedy club.

“Empire Of Sins”, the group’s second full-length release, now will be released via Pride & Joy Music on March 26th, 2021. The album was recorded at Kalovidouris Sound Studios, in Volos, Greece between July and October 2020, and mixed and mastered by Dionysis Christodoulatos at CFN recording studio Athens, Greece. Kiriakos Balanos designed the front cover. One of the highlights featured here is the Metal cover of Belinda Carlisle’s smash hit “Leave A Light On”.

Line-up: Mike Livas (lead and backing vocals), Kiriakos Balanos (guitars, keyboard), Vangelis Papadimitriou (guitars), Vangelis Tsekouras (bass)John Antonopoulos (drums)

Terrible Sickness was founded in autumn 2010 in Hannover, Germany, by Peter and Kevin. Since both Death-Grind fanatics musically completed each other very well, the first Demo “Abattoir of Pleasure” could be recorded in December that year, which was created completely on their own.

In January 2011, Karsten entered as a second guitarist and soon after Hendrik joined the band on bass. In this line up the quartet began to record their first full length album in October 2011.

Due to personal circumstances, Kevin was forced to travel back to his home country, the USA, in January 2011. Jan became the new guitarist and Florian as the new singer was brought into the group. The Death-Thrash vocals which Florian provided in earlier bands like Project 666 and Kryonix were the perfect addition to the existing song material.

The recordings which had already started were completed by Florian and Jan, so that in April 2013, the first album “First R**e Still Sexy” was released. After the release and some following gigs, the songwriting for the second record began, having been shaped by Kevins departure and resulting in a slightly increased touch of Thrash sound. The outcome of sweat and blood was then recorded in October and November 2015 under the title “Feasting on your Perdition” and contains 11 songs with a playing time of about 39 minutes.

Immediately after the recordings of the new album, Hendrik had to quit the band due to acute health problems. Even if his withdrawal in this context was very depressing, Terrible Sickness could soon find a new bass-player by recruiting Eike from Putrefaction.

In March 2017, “Feasting on your Perdition” was released. The album received some notable positive feedback in the respective press (Legacy 13/15, powermetal.de 9/10, Rock Hard 8/10, …) and Terrible Sickness, with the new record on their back, subsequently were able to play stunning gigs at the Protzen Open Air and the Rock unter den Eichen festival amongst others, where the new songs’ ability to enrage the crowd was proven.

In the course of 2018, Terrible Sickness and Jan’s ways parted, since the latter wanted to move his musical career into a new direction. But by acquiring Jens, another member of Putrefaction dedicated to extreme music quickly replaced the empty slot. In this line-up, with all the energy of these 5 maniacs, Terrible Sickness was focussing on writing and recording new songs in 2022. As a foretaste of the next album, the vinyl-single “Dethroned Immortality” was released in April 2022. This record includes next to a new track a rerecording of “I Spit in Your Grave”, a classic right from the start.

Between April and July 2022 Terrible Sickness finally recorded the new material in full. Once again, the Audiobeast studio in Asendorf was boarded under the direction of Emil Richters, who also already supervised recordings, mixing and mastering of the "Feasting" disc. 10 own songs and a cover of the mighty Defleshed ("Feeding Fatal Fairies") have been recorded under the album title "Flesh for the Insatiable". Terrible Sickness were thereby supported by none other than Martin Matzak (ex-Torchure), who joined as a guest vocalist on several songs. The front and back artwork of the album was designed by Daniel Bartell, as was the case with "Feasting".

The upcoming release of "Flesh for the Insatiable" will be on CD and digitally via Black Sunset/MDD on November 18th2022. A vinyl release is still in the planning stages.

The band in the current lineup sees itself rooted in the Death Metal style of the 90’s.
One will find riffs inspired by Suffocation, Death and Malevolent Creation in the sound and often the songs are enriched by catchy thrash parts.

Next to the Death/Horror/Gore-lyrics, social- and religion critical lyrics were introduced.

Lineup 2022

Florian – Vocals
Jens – Guitars
Eike – Bass
Peter – Drums
Karsten – Guitars

Jörn Schubert (Dark Age) always wanted to combine heavy metal music with classical music. For this purpose, he sought suitable musicians, eventually finding the soprano Nina Jiers and the baritone Thorsten Schuck. At that time, Jiers had no experience with metal. Mirko Gluschke (Dead End Circle), who is a good friend of Schubert, became the growling vocalist. Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray) became the band's bass guitarist. In addition, during the recording of the demo, Corvin Bahn (ex-(?)Gamma Ray), André Schumann (Dark Age) and Guiomar Espineira (flautist) helped, in order to release the first demo ("Destined Ways'") in mid-2011, in collaboration with the producer Elke Freese (Dark Age, Hammer Studios).
On 29 May 2012, Schubert signed a contract with the record company earMUSIC which asked him to record an entire album. The recordings for the album Destined Ways began in June 2012 and were finished in November 2012. It was released in Germany on 29 August 2014 and internationally on 18 July 2014. The two year time gap between the completion of the album and its release was explained by the search for a suitable sample space and new members. Schumann and Espineira were only intended in the studio recordings and Bahn was not available at that time for live performances. Therefore, the band searched for new live musicians. Eventually, Mikis Trimborn (Syndemic) became the second guitarist, while Thorsten Harnitz (Counter-World Experience, Crystal Breed) became the drummer.
On 1 August 2014, Neopera made their second appearance at Wacken Open Air Liveshow.
This was followed by a long break for health reasons.
After the debut album “Destined Ways” in 2014 and the EP “In Memoriam” in 2020 (produced in 2015) “An Eternal Night” is a first sign of life to show that Neopera is back.
During the recording of the debut album, the exceptional guitarist and head of the band Jörn Schubert fell ill with muscular dystonia in his left hand and from then on could only make music to a very limited extent. Schubert took the title of the debut album "Destined Ways" literally and tackled the path that had been predetermined for him with a firm step. After years of therapy, the path with Neopera continues. Schubert will no longer be seen on stage. As a composer, however, he is more active than ever.
He follows the predetermined path together with baritone Thorsten Schuck, who has accompanied him since the beginning of Neopera, and an otherwise new band line-up: soprano: Jasmin Gajewski, guitar: Nino Helfrich, bass / vocals: Denis Filimonov.

Meteora started in 2010 playing covers of symphonic and gothic metal songs in the clubs of Budapest. The current line-up has been together since the debut album ’Our Paradise’ in 2017. In 2019 the band signed to Hungarian record label Nail Records (later renamed H-Music), and had their second CD released in March 2020 with that month’s issue of Hammerworld magazine. As the global pandemic of COVID-19 made it impossible to play live music, they spent the time composing songs for their third record ’…of Shades and Colours’, that was released 6th September 2022.
Notable collaborations include the re-recording of the song ’Our Paradise’ in 2021 with the growls of Jonathan Pellet (Rage of Light, ex-Dysrider), and ’Danse Macabre’ in 2022 which featured Chris Harms (Lord of the Lost).

After the singles "Dance in Flames" and "Light it up" finally "DEAD MEMORY" presents their EP "Awake".

DEAD MEMORY is a German heavy rock band formed in 2013 in Essen, in the heart of the “Pott”, a colloquial name for the Ruhr region.

The sound – at the controls: Dennis Koehne (e.g. S***m, Lacuna Coil, Caliban, Melechesh, Exumer, ORDEN OGAN) – features influences from different rock and metal genres skilfully woven into each other. The result not only shows the musical versatility of the band, but also reflects substantially a journey. Out of a depressing and seemingly hopeless situation in life to a form of awakening that gives strength and courage.
