Good Morning Followers!
I first off want to thank everyone for following my page and for the support thus far. I can’t thank y’all enough for the support. I am creating this post to give everyone some insight on why I started streaming and where I want this page to go.
Alright let's get started. The reason I created this page was to help out veterans and Active-Duty service members. I started streaming to create an environment for veterans and current service members to come and hang out, area where we can talk and as they say “shoot the sh*t”. However, that’s not the only reason. A little back story about myself. I’m and infantryman (11B) int the US Army and I’ve been in the last 9 years. Over my time in the Army, I've had the pleasure of meeting some lifelong brothers. Brothers that have impacted my life in ways that I can’t fathom. With that, it saddens me to say that I have lost 13 of my original 38 brothers. Most of those 13 were to su***de. This post is not mean to sadden anyone. How unrealistic that may seem, the purpose of this is to give y’all some insight on why I started.
I created this page and started streaming to bring people together. To give everyone that sense of brotherhood they once had. In reality, a lot of veterans miss that brotherhood. The comradery with lifelong brother that not even death himself could break apart. I want to create that environment to where we can reminisce about the good old days and talk about the good times and bad times we all experienced. Being in the Army for as long as I have, I would be lying to you if I said I've never had my trouble with su***de. Truth be told, no therapist, no doctor could have helped me with what was going on in my head. Only friends that I served with, friends that I shared that raw experience with, friends that I was baptized in the fires of combat with helped me through it all. I am tired of losing friends, I am tired of losing brothers that sacrificed everything and feel alone. I want this page to spread like a wield fire to every veteran and Active-Duty service member. I want every service member to know that they are not alone and they can jump into my stream anytime. We can talk about anything and everything. I want every veteran and active service member to know they are not alone.
Eventually I am going to monetarize this page to where anyone can donate. I want to be clear, by no means is anyone obligated to contribute any amount of money to me or this page. But I am going to monetarize this page to eventually create a nonprofit. Now that is quite a few years in the making, but I want to be transparent with my followers. I want to help out the veteran community and in this new day and age, I might have found a way. More details about the nonprofit will be in a later post, but for now this is my story.
