Psalm 33 is a great word to pray together! Let’s to this! 🙏

Lord Jesus we come before you in thanksgiving and we pray using your word in worship to you! May your blessings be with us and may our prayer bless you!

Let us rejoice in the LORD, all you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

He loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: He layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nothing: He maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beheld all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looked upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioned their hearts alike; He considered all their works.

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: A mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waits for the LORD: He is our help and our shield. For our heart will rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, According as we hope in thee!

Picture this story unfolding;
And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the c**k crew. And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the c**k crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭60‬-‭62‬ ‭

Right before that, this happened;
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the c**k shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭31‬-‭34‬

They had taken the Lord and Peter followed close by, of course I am sure he was concerned, as we probably would have been also. Then a woman recognized Peter as a follower of Christ and she pointed him out. Accusing him. He immediately denied. Then denied again when someone else recognized him, I am sure because he was scared. Then Peter denied again not an hour later and probably even more scared at how serious the situation became.

What gets me is when the Lord turned and looked at Peter. He heard it all. The Lord was there and witnessed it and then turned to look at Peter ….

This breaks my heart. The Lord knew and had already warned Peter; - because of His love for him, - that Peter would be brought to those denials in his own weakness. The Lord knows our weaknesses and will give us strength, but that the Lord knew, seen and heard was a hard one for me. My heart felt that. Father forgive us. Strengthen us today. Keep us strong and in the palm of your hand always. May we be the apple of your eye. Amen.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalm‬ ‭33‬:‭6‬ ‭

The Spirit of God hath made me, And the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job‬ ‭33:4

Each breath we take is of God. He breathed the breath of life into Adam, He breathed on His disciples to receive the Holy Ghost, and He breathes for each of us today. Stop for a moment and think about this. The very breath of the Lord is in us!

Breath in that life today and accept it in all you do. It is such an exciting life we can have holding Gods hand through it all, knowing He even breathes for us!

Let Him speak life into the areas that have been quieted by the cares of this world. Take a deep breath in and clear yourself of any troubles; giving it all to the Lord. He can take care of everything if you let Him!

Peace in the Lord is the game changer in our life. Knowing He has this and trusting in that is where we get our strength from. We don’t have to know everything or what is coming tomorrow, sometimes He keeps things from us for our protection and other times He boldly tells us what we need to know.

Gather some time to spend with Him and ask; then you will receive! Trust in that also; ask, and you will get what you need. Wisdom on a business deal? Or knowledge of what is truly going on, or a blessing you need in health, safety and wellbeing? Ask and He will show you the way! Wait and listen!

This scripture came off the pages for the start of a new year upon us. It is definitely simple directions for us. We can focus on this word to give us an easy example of what we should focus on this coming year.

Sometimes we make it hard, but God brings it down to something we can understand. He doesn’t want His will for us to be hard to follow.

If we give ourselves to the Lord and hold His hand it will be an amazing opportunity for each of us! Let’s bless Him back as He blesses us this coming year!

Doing His will is what makes our life an amazing blessing and we will continue to be thankful as we see Him working in our life!

As we near the end of a year with the new year approaching, let’s move forward and leave the old behind. I want to share a wonderful thought I was inspired by the Holy Ghost to share for each of us!

The word is Birth/Rebirth; which means the act or process of bringing forth, to bear, to labor, the spiritual life that God gives to us, the sovereign act of God that cleanses us, be renewed, to create, a resurrection, the act of coming to life, a birth that happens with the help of the Holy Spirit!

We read in John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of man, but of God.

We read in 1Peter 1:22-23 Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brothers, see that you love one another with a pure heart: being born again, not of corruptible seen, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

We read in 1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

We read in Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

We read in Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you!

We read in 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come!

Let us end with Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember not the former things, nor consider the old things. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth!

The Lord is asking us to allow birth and rebirth in our life. Shake off the old, put it down, let it go, and let the newness come forth. We must die to the old to let the new come to life. The transformation cannot happen unless we die to the things holding us back.

Rebirth is the possibility of a new beginning. The spiritual life the Lord wants us to have, is to die to the old, and flourish in the new. He has wonderful plans for His children!

Just for thought with the Lord at the end of this year and preparing ourselves for the new year upon us; these are key points to pray on that could hinder our birth and rebirth in the Lord; fear, negative thinking, unhealthy behaviors we do to deal, putting things off, self-worth, discomfort, pain, the effort we have to put in, bad influence’s, thinking it will be easy, ignoring life’s lessons, rejection, seeing the worst and excuses.

Each of us fight these above situations, but with the Lord we can do all things and get through to every thing He wants for us! Continue to hold Jesus’s hand!

Keys to help you find the truth; reflect on what you know to be truth, consider intent, research, ask questions, be detached until you figure it out, avoid reacting emotionally and respond instead, be skeptical, evaluate all information, ask questions and above all else listen to the Lord. He leads and guides us into all truth!

We have the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord wants us all to walk in victory every day because we have the victory in Him!

If you are reading this no matter your circumstances in life you have the victory. It may not look like it, you may be in the heat of a battle, and you may not see an end to your situation; but the Lord wants us to know today that if we are still here, right now reading this, we have the victory!!!

No matter the war wounds, no matter what had happened; give it all to the Lord and stand victorious in the situation and see what He does! Keep your faith! Straighten your armor, put back on your helmet of salvation back on if it has been knocked off and stand tall!

You have the victory because the Lord says you have the victory! Amen!

Do you read the bible? This is not a test, just a sincere question for a good reason. Do you?

A lot of believers don’t on any regular basis so don’t feel bad if that is you. The thought came to me today on how important it is to actually read or listen to the Word on a daily basis. This is the reason … because in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God!

Wow, the Word is God! How exciting is that when we get the revelation of this! These words are God! Reading the bible or listening to the Word from a bible app, - even if you don’t understand everything, - you are spending that time with God! Let that sink in for a moment.

A lot of people don’t read the bible due to not understanding it. That’s okay! But look at it a new. The Word is God! We need to keep reading or hearing it because when we do we are spending time with Him and all of that time with God will change our life. Before we know it we will be closer to Him and understanding will come as the relationship grows. A good relationship needs time and time well spent with each other. Everyone should stop believing the lie that we won’t get anything out of using the Bible. And who would want us to believe that lie?

I use the YouVersion app and love it! There is a plan to read the bible in six months and it is great, check that out in the plans section. You can read or have it read to you while getting ready for the day, in your car or curled up in a lawn chair. Keep reading or listening, keep pressing forward, you will be amazed at the life from Him that will come into your life!

With the new year coming this is the perfect time to get this ready and start reading the word!

Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude. Expressing ourselves can sometimes not be easy. Let’s pray together Gods word on this subject!

Dear Jesus, we come before you with a grateful heart, Lord. We are so thankful for your saving mercies. We offer to you in praise and worship this day thanksgiving from our heart to yours.

You have given to us of your abundance and you take care of us in our needs. In your presence we hunger for nothing and just want you. Keep us in your presence Lord.

In every thing we give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning each us. We wait on you Lord who is faithful and true. Help us today to stand on all your promises. We know them to be true.

We enter into your gates with thanksgiving, and into your courts with praise: we are thankful unto you and we bless your holy name. We give you thanksgiving for the morning sunrise and the evenings setting sun. Your glory goes before you Lord.

May we sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; and may we praise you upon the harp and string instruments. Anoint us Lord in worship to you. Bless our voice to sing thanksgiving praises to your holy name.

Help us let the peace of God rule in our hearts, to the which also we are called in one body; and help us to be thankful. You are our helper in the time of trouble and we are thankful and claim your word that no weapon formed against us will prosper.

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: For His mercy endureth for ever. His redeeming love is powerful and more than enough. We have salvation in Him! We have been redeemed and we shout with thanksgiving!

And let us sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. Let us rejoice in you, Lord! All creation bows before you and we will do the same in thanksgiving.

And whatsoever we do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Thank you Jesus for myself and each of your children, that we have you Lord and know your precious name.

We are forever thankful for your word and your tender mercies. We love you Jesus and pray our thankfulness reaches you today. May we be the apple of your eye and make you smile today. You deserve our praise and thanksgiving Lord! We give thanks to the Lord of Lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Being thankful and grateful is a key to a life filled with the hope and grace of our Lord Jesus. I believe a thankful heart captures His attention because He first loved us - and when He sees us hoping and trusting in Him, - He can’t help but draw near to us! God fights our battles. He is our high tower to run into. He is our protector. Any need you have today, give it to Him with thanksgiving, and let Him take care of it!

The children are so young, innocent, influenceable, and trusting. Due to their inexperience and sweet qualities they need Gods protection in today’s world. The “family” needs to be restored also.
Let’s agree together and pray for both!

Dear Lord, we pray protection over all the children of the world. We pray that no one, not one, can despise or hurt one of these little ones. We are thankful for each child and we know that their angels always see the face of our Father who is in heaven. Send Your Heavenly Host of protection in Jesus Name.

All children are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward, to be cherished and protected. We pray and declare that protection over each one of those little ones. Protect the families and seal them with your love.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed be the rewards of the Lord and blessed be their protection. We lift up the children to Jesus, may He touch them mightily with safety and purpose. Protect their paths Lord!

Lord, we know your word says, “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Lord help us all to be like a child and come to you with all our needs. We pray each child is blessed by you, Lord! We pray they are lacking nothing and their comings and goings are seen by You and protected.

We pray each child is taught the word and every parent will take their role seriously. Let each child be taught on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.

Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. Bring back the family Lord! Bind every unclean spirit who is coming against the family! Bring liberty back to families, and prosperity.

We pray for all children to keep themselves from idols. We pray for discernment, wisdom and knowledge beyond their years. We pray against witchcraft and sorcery and replace with truth and the glory of the Lord!

We thank you that you tell us in your word that you will be a Father to us, and we shall be sons and daughters to you! You are a good Father!

Lord, we know you have no greater joy than to hear that your children are walking in the truth. Help us today to walk in truth, and we declare that truth over every child’s life!

We know those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. We declare today, that goodness and mercy follow every child that is in you, Lord! Bring the children to truth that do not know you yet, Lord!

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. The Spirit we received does not make us slaves, so that we live in fear again; rather, the Spirit we received brought about our adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

For we were once in darkness, but now we have the light of the Lord. May we live as children of light. Anoint us, Lord, to do just that! We pray the children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of our children.

Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright. Help us Lord to teach, show grace and mercy, so, that the children will be pure and upright!

We pray wisdom into every home with children, because we know your word is truth. May each parent discipline in love. Restore and renew each home in your Spirit!

Children, we lift you up and pray, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Lord, we pray for you to be the Father to the fatherless. Let them feel your love and may their heart be tender. Be their comforter and holy companion. We cover each child in your love, Lord!

The Lord tells us, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me, but the one who sent me.” May we be a light to the children.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. My children, I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Yes, Lord, give your children a new heart today and may we all have a heart after you! Thank you for your protection over the children worldwide and your blessings to restore the families.

Today’s thought gets to the bottom of the barrel! I love getting to the point and this scripture does exactly that for us.
In Ecclesiastes 12 the scriptures talks about how quick life can be; we go from youth to an older age without us even realizing it. We should enjoy our days with God and His blessings in this life of ours; not turn away from Him, and stay very close to Him in all we do.

In these scriptures it is pointed out that we cannot trust our bodies as we age, but we can trust in the God who created us. The scripture even says there will be many books published, and we can grow weary studying all of them. So, let’s just sum it up… Yes, let’s get to the point or the conclusion!

That part of the scripture makes my day because I don’t want to be in school anymore. I served my time. I do not want to have to buy fifty books to study what I should or should not do.

God is such a good God He sums it up for us today in His word; in this crazy world that is spinning out of control all around us, we have clear direction in His word. He never leaves us wanting and He has come to save us!

We can trust in Him and we can be safe in His arms. We can live in Goshan with the Lord! He will spare us and keep us safe as the world may be going crazy around us. (The Lord kept the Israelites in an abundance of provisions and protection amid the Egyptians pagan culture.)

So, let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God and keep His commandments. It is our duty as His children; but also our safety net! He is our refuge, our everything.

Fearing God is knowing who He is, having a reverence for who He is, and having an awe of who He is!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭

Let’s pray;
Dear Lord, we acknowledge you today and we stand in awe of who you are. Forgive us of all our sins, and wash us clean in your blood that flows freely from Calvary. Jesus we trust in you and not in ourselves. You are our healer and provider today. Instruct us in everything we do. Help us to keep your commandments and walk in them daily. Lead us not into any temptations and deliver us from all evil.
You alone are the Almighty and we are your children. Thank you for all your blessings and mercies today!

Judgement Stands at the Door ~

What does judgement stands at the door mean from a definition standpoint? Judgement means an ability to understand something, make a sensible opinion, reach a decision or a conclusion. In a divine sense, judgement can mean a misfortune or calamity may come upon a people who have turned their back on God.

In the Old Testament we can read story after story of misfortunes coming upon people who turned to idols, burned incense, and called upon false gods instead of looking to the one true God. While in their sins they brought judgement upon themselves.

Saying judgement stands at the door sounds so harsh and sounds like punishment is looming over us. In James 5:9 it states for us not to condemn or grudge not against another; and then we are not condemned because the judge stands at the door. I believe this word to us is twofold; the first part is not to follow after other gods and idols, or we could find ourselves in calamity and misfortunes wondering where everything went wrong.

In today’s world everything is trying to get us farther and farther away from God. The enemy of our souls is working overtime. We need to stay as close to the Lord as we possibly can. Talking to Him, reading His Word, and make time to listen are the three best things we can do with part of our day.

The second part of this statement I heard I believe is judgement is standing at the door; but time to repent, time to receive mercy, time to receive grace, time to receive forgiveness and time to be restored is now, and it is free from the Lord Jesus and He wants that more than anything for each of us!

The Lord Jesus is a merciful God.
2 Peter 3:9 says the Lord is not slack concerning His promise; but is long suffering to us-ward, and that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

In verse 10, it says, but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. When we look at the whole picture, we can also see to be ready, do not be taken unawares; judgement does stand at the door because no man knows the hour when the Lord is coming back for His bride, nor do we know our days here.

Let’s be wise and not foolish; our life, and how we live it, should glorify the one who died for each of us. His love is amazing and cannot be comprehended. It is so hard to grasp the love He has for us. Many of us do not know how to receive His love because we have not experienced a good love from others. We cannot compare His love to others … it is above anything we can imagine.

I encourage you today to get to know Jesus more than you have ever experienced before, when you do you will wonder what took you so long!
