To my wildlife loving friends: Texas is the only state that still allows unchecked and unlimited hunting and trapping of mountain lions. TPWD is accepting comments regarding some proposed changes to this sad legacy. It is currently legal to leave a mountain lion in any type of trap, until it starves or freezes to death.
PLEASE- take two minutes to use the link below and let the officials know that you care about these animals.
The deadline for comments is May 22.
