Meet our founder, S.D. Britt--

In 2015 I began book reviewing for several different publishers and ran my own book reviewing website with different author services. I’ve written and been in Penguin Random House, Bethany House, Baker Books, Gallic Books, and Netgalley Book Reviewer Programs. In addition, I worked and wrote for Manhattan Book Review and San Francisco Book Review. But what I’m most excited about is that this year I wrote my first book, Hanging Ferns, through Trilogy Publishing and fell in love with the publishing process. I’m in the middle of writing my second novel, but Pilcrow Pub will be my publisher!

What is a Pilcrow? ¶

Let us be the first to introduce you to the ¶ (PILCROW). In writing, when an editor wants the author to create a new paragraph, they jot this ¶ symbol in the margin to convey to the author to create a new paragraph here.

In many ways, the Pilcrow is literal and metaphorical to us. It ultimately means: ➡️new beginnings⬅️
