Chris Stoll (OPAC Records founder) became passionate about electronic music at the age of 16. He began to adhere to turntables mixing different styles like Techno Detroit, House, Trip-Hop, Electro. In 2004 he took a break of more than 7 years to resume in 2011 mixing and production. Things had changed, adaptation and investment were difficult. In 2016 he signed his first EP on the Absturd Sates Records label. Subsequently things happened again, many editions on different labels like Lamp or Inmost records. In 2019 he decides to create his own label OPAC Records.
OPAC Records was created for several purposes, the first being to introduce new talents of all kinds to the general public. This label has the concept of developing alternative musical genres a little new in established styles such as techno, minimal deep tech, dub or electro. But we will also have the pleasure of publishing great recognized artists with their signatures of their own! We will strive to make every effort to make adapted outings and designed for clubs, but also ambient music performed on more experimental and varied sound plans in order to give free rein to your imagination! As its name indicates, the label has the principle of remaining underground.
I wanted to say a special thanks to Kirill Guk aka Following Light for giving me the chance to release my first EP on one of his many Absurd State. A big thank you to him who supported me, encouraged me and always does!
